A HOME expert has lifted the lid on the one item we should all be investing in to make our home look more stylish and expensive in seconds – and it won’t break the bank.
TikTok interior star @isabellasloft, who is an interior designer and often shares her bargain buys with her social media followers, posted a recent update about a new must-have item for any room in the home.
Isabella explained: “Want to make your home look more expensive?
“Whenever possible, add a picture light over your mirrors and art pieces.”
The American home expert then continued to share that you can bag an on-trend picture light from online stories like Amazon, showing off some recent finds, including a cordless picture light and a one that’s more traditional that plugs in.
The home accessory starts from as little as £22.99 online and can be easily installed to transform your living space.

Dishing out further tips to her loyal followers, Isabella encouraged them to mix and match different shades of picture lights.
When one fellow home lover asked her whether it was tacky to opt for more than one colour around the home, saying she wanted gold in her living room and black in her dining room, Isabella replied honestly.
She wrote: “I think mixing neutrals is always good. That sounds like a great combo.”
Isabella also maintained that hanging them above a mirror immediately adds a more “luxe feel” to your surroundings.
