Meghan Markle news latest – Tortured Prince Harry was 'set free' from agony of royal life by Duchess, expert claims

PRINCE Harry’s old Eton and Army friends have reportedly warned him not to reveal their secrets in his tell-all memoir – and threatened to dish out Royal dirt in return.

Pals of the Duke of Sussex are said to be concerned that he will expose embarrassing secrets in the book, which is due to be published next year.

It comes as Lilibet is still missing from the Royal Family official website’s line of succession — seven weeks after she was born.

The omission of the tot, who is eighth in line behind brother Archie, is sure to anger the Sussexes.

Angela Levin has had her say on Harry’s latest announcement of his new memoir. She doesn’t seem to be his biggest fan, stating “After telling his story in Finding Freedom, spilling the beans to Oprah Winfrey – twice – now he is writing his ‘literary memoir‘, whatever that is.

“Why is he writing a book?

The Duchess of York was diplomatic when quizzed on the chat, which featured a series of explosive revelations.

The couple had their say 25 years after Fergie herself sat down with the chat show host to reveal her life is “no fairytale”.

In an interview with the Telegraph, Sarah cautiously said: “All I want to say on this is that Oprah helped me greatly when I went to the US and was interviewed by her.

“I’m a great supporter of Oprah and everything that she does.”

And she was guarded when asked about Megxit – telling the interviewer: “I wouldn’t presume to give advice to Harry and Meghan, except to say to be happy.”

HARRY AND MEGHAN PALS CLAIM COUPLE ‘KEEPING RECEIPTS AND DOCUMENTS’ TO BACK UP CLAIMS PUBLISHED IN NEW BOOK

Harry’s memoir — set to examine the “highs and lows” of his royal life — will hit shelves next year, the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Pals of Harry and wife Meghan say they are keeping “receipts” and documents to back up any claims that are published.

Thomas Markle is right to take Meghan and Prince Harry to court over not seeing his grandkids, says model Caprice.

The American star backed the former lighting director’s legal fight to meet Archie, two, and baby Lilibet.

Meghan’s estranged dad, 77, last week vowed to take his daughter and son-in-law to court so he can see them.

Caprice, 49, told the Sun Online: “Mr Markle has a right to petition the Court of California for access to his grandchildren.

“If Thomas Markle was a billionaire from Texas, I am sure they would, without a thought, give him direct access to their children.”

CHARLES REFUSED TO TALK TO HARRY DURING MEGXIT AND COMMUNICATED BY LETTER ONLY

Charles refused to speak to Harry on the phone during the “Megxit” talks last year — sending letters instead.

An insider said: “There have been worries for some time that the Sussexes could keep records of what would usually be expected to be private family conversations. There are concerns they could go straight into the memoirs.”

But despite reports of a four-book deal, a spokesman for the Sussexes said Harry was writing only one memoir, to be published next year.

Buckingham Palace did not want to comment.

'VICIOUS, CRUEL AND HORRIBLY SELF-SERVING': CHARLES' BIOGRAPHER BLASTS HARRY & MEGHAN

Prince Charles’ biographer has blasted Harry and Meghan for being “vicious, cruel and horribly self-serving”.

Jonathan Dimbleby said the couple did “great damage” to the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family during their tell-all chat with Oprah Winfrey.

Speaking at the Buxton International Festival in Derbyshire this week, the veteran broadcaster, 76, said, as reported by the Daily Mail: “I think that the interview was a very great shame.

“I think it did great damage of a kind that was undeserved to the royal household and specifically to the Queen and her family.”

The bombshell broadcast saw Harry say there was “a lot of hurt” between him and his father and that Charles had stopped taking his calls. He also alleged he was cut off financially after Megxit.

LILIBET FINALLY LISTED ON ROYAL LINE OF SUCCESSION

Meghan and Harry’s daughter Lilibet has FINALLY been listed in the royal line of succession – seven weeks after her birth.

But the official web page for the Duchess of Sussex on royal.uk still lists Meg as a mum of one.

Little Lili Mountbatten-Windsor was born on June 4 in the US and is eighth in line to the throne.

But until today, the official website had yet to recognise her birth on the official line of succession – as exclusively reported by The Sun.

The website, which helps keep the public up to date on matters relating to the House of Windsor, was this morning still listing Prince Andrew as eighth in line.

NEW CHAPTER TO MEGHAN AND HARRY'S BIOGRAPHY 'FINDING FREEDOM' RELEASED NEXT MONTH

But after a tumultuous year for the Royal Family, an update was needed.

HarperCollins said the epilogue in the paperback edition will share: "Behind the scenes of Harry and Meghan's ground breaking interview with Oprah, details behind the couple's move to California (and) the various philanthropic and business endeavours the Sussexes have been involved with since their move and what's to come with Archewell Productions."

It will also feature: "The continuous challenges the couple face regarding privacy and the British press (and) the heartbreak the couple felt over Prince Philip's death."

The Duke of Sussex released a poignant tribute to his grandfather following his death, calling him a "master of the barbecue, legend of banter, and cheeky right till the end".

Harry later returned to the UK for the funeral without Meghan, who was pregnant at the time and advised not to travel by her doctors. The Finding Freedom update, which goes on sale on August 31 – the date Diana, Princess of Wales was killed in a car crash in 1997 – is said to have been written with the participation of those closest to the Sussexes.

HARRY & MEGHAN’S ‘HEARTBREAK’ OVER PRINCE PHILIP & ‘BEHIND THE SCENES’ OF BOMBSHELL OPRAH CHAT FEATURE IN UPDATED BOOK

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle's "heartbreak" over Prince Philip's death will feature in an updated version of their biography, Finding Freedom.

Royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand have updated the book with a new chapter, promising a host of revelations since it was first published last summer.

As well as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's reaction to Philip's death, publisher HarperCollins said the latest edition will share "behind the scenes" details of Harry and Meg's bombshell Oprah interview as well as their move to California.

It will also recount "Meghan's emotional healing journey from losing a child to the birth of their daughter".

Finding Freedom already chronicles the duke and duchess's romance and brief period as members of the monarchy before they broke away to forge a new life for themselves and son Archie in America.

PRINCE HARRY’S BOOK DEAL COULD UPSET PRINCE CHARLES’ ASCENSION TO THE THRONE

THE royal family have “very real fears” that Prince Harry’s book deal could destabilise the Monarchy and upset his father's ascension to the throne, according to a source.

Harry, 36, is set to publish his explosive memoir in four books which he vows will examine the "highs and lows" of his extraordinary life. The book will be put out during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next year.

But the second of those books is due out only after the Queen has died – which is causing fears within the firm that this could hinder the transition of power to Prince Charles.

A source told MailOnline that there is “anger and disappointment” within the palace and that the Queen is facing anxiety over the books contents.

They said that senior Palace officals made the decision not to respond publicly to the Duke of Sussex’s announcement because they feared it would “fan the flames” of his already strained relationship with Prince Charles.

PRINCE HARRY SIGNS £29M BOOK DEAL (CONTINUED…)

Two publishers reportedly flew out from London to Harry’s home in California and took part in an ‘auction’ for the rights to his book.

A source told the Mail: “He conducted negotiations – he had a very ‘take it or leave it’ attitude.

“His starting price was $25m (£18m) and the final figure was way north of that, possibly as much as $35 to 40m (£25-29m).

“Those involved were actually very shocked by his approach, which was to look at them coldly and state his demands: $25million.”

Harry’s wife Meghan Markle, 39, is also set to write a “wellness” guide as part of the contract with the publisher.

PRINCE HARRY SIGNS FOUR BOOK DEAL THAT MAY BE WORTH UP TO £29MILLION

PRINCE Harry has signed a four-book deal that may be worth up to £29million – with the second to be released after the Queen’s death.

Harry, 36, is set to publish his explosive memoir which he vowed will examine the “highs and lows” of his extraordinary life – out during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next year.

His lucrative deal – worth up to a potential £29million – with publishers Penguin Random House involves four books.

The second of those books is due out only after the Queen has died, the Daily Mail reported.

Industry insiders reportedly said the “tell-all” premise of Harry’s memoir was just the “tip of the iceberg”.

        WELL PAID

Meghan Markle is set to write a wellness guide as part of a four-book mega deal after a £29MILLION bidding war.

The Duchess will pen the tome as part of a contract she and Prince Harry have struck with Penguin Random House.

And one of Harry’s books can only be released after the Queen’s death – likely deepening the Royal Family’s reservations over the deal, it’s reported.

Lawyers for the couple initially said they wouldn’t be commenting on those claims – but later said they were “false and defamatory” and only one memoir is planned.

That book will be published next year. Harry vowed that it will examine the “highs and lows” of his extraordinary life.
