PRINCE Harry & Meghan Markle have been slammed by a royal expert after they visited the Queen for the first time in two years yesterday.
The Duke and Duchess, who stopped off as they made their way to the Invictus Games in Holland, smiled and waved at stunned visitors, who were at Windsor for the traditional Maundy Thursday ceremony.
But when asked by Good Morning Britain presenter Adil Ray if it was a “good thing” the Sussexes visited the monarch, royal biographer Angela Levin replied: “I’m not sure that it is, I think you have to be very careful not to jump to conclusions.
“I think the Queen and Prince Charles have missed them hugely and therefore they could wrap them around their little fingers and use them for commercial use as they have done before.
“I think it’s something to do with not turning up at Prince Philip’s memorial service and finding out what the reaction to that was, it was very bad, and they can’t afford to lose that publicity.”
The couple also saw Prince Charles in the whistle-stop visit to Windsor Castle – the first time the couple have visited the UK together since March 2020.

Harry determined that ‘nothing’ will stop him from getting ‘what he wants’
A royal expert has claimed that ‘nothing’ will get in the way of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from getting what they want, as they wish to “bring down” the Royal Family.
Royal author Angela Levin told Good Morning Britain: “Well, also the Queen has needed them for a very long time. And it’s taken them quite a long time to realise that.
“I think that this is a deliberate… I think they want to bring down the British Royal Family, but they can smile on occasion.
“I mean Harry is a completely different person from the one I spent over a year with when I wrote his biography.
“He’s ruthless, he’s off the lead as it were, and nothing will stop him to get what he wants.”

Explained: When will Prince Harry's book come out?
Harry's plans to release an autobiography emerged in July.
Courtiers close to Charles said he only discovered the plan when it was made public.
The prince signed with publisher Penguin Random House and will be donating any fee to charity after making tens of millions of dollars with Netflix and Spotify.
Announcing the unprecedented publishing deal, Harry said from his £11million mansion in Montecito, California: "I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.
"I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.
"I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a first-hand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful."

Prince Harry’s explosive memoir ‘could be pushed back’
PRINCE Harry's explosive memoir could be pushed back following his secret meeting with the Queen and Charles, a royal expert has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex jetted to the UK for the face-to-face reunions in what could be a "peace summit" between the warring relatives.
Despite tensions running high within the family – particularly after the Sussex's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey and the announcement Harry was secretly writing a tell-all book about his life – it is thought their surprise get-together could have been "productive".
And it may mean the duke decides to hold off releasing his "wholly truthful" account of the "highs and lows" of his extraordinary life.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said: "It is very important that this happened, and hopefully it will be seen as being productive.
"Harry's memoir is coming, but memoirs can always be put back.
"It is very possible that some agreement was decided for the book."
Richard also said that if the conversations went well, the Sussexes could even make an appearance at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.

GMB viewers furious as presenter ‘won’t stop talking’ about Harry & Meg
GOOD Morning Britain viewers were left furious with Kate Garraway as she wouldn't "stop talking" about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle today.
The presenter, 54, who was joined alongside Adil Ray for Friday morning's instalment of the ITV show, started talking about royal couple's recent visit to the UK.
Earlier this week The Sun revealed the Duke and Duchess jetted to Britain for a secret face-to-face meeting with the Queen.
They also saw Prince Charles in a whistle-stop visit to Windsor Castle — their first joint UK trip since they quit royal duty in March 2020.
As Kate spoke about it on the programme, she described it as their "top story", as well as "breaking news".
However fans at home weren't impressed with how much focus was on the pair returning to the UK.
One wrote on Twitter: "@GMB do us all a favour & stop going on about harry & meghan #gmb."
Another said: "There’s a war in Ukraine yet the first headline was Harry and Meghan. Who cares about them they are irrelevant. #GMB."
"I think todays #GMB has to be the worst one for content. So So boring. It’s so low to pitch Harry and Meghan visiting their grandmother over the tragedy of Ukrainians as the headline," a third chimed in.

Harry set to snub Jubilee as Queen's aides 'worried'
A royal biographer has claimed that she sure Prince Harry will not come overseas to celebrate his grandmother's reign.
Royal biographer Angela Levin has said: “It's quite painful to watch him. She [Her Majesty] would love to see him. She adores Harry. It doesn't seem to bother him.”
Ms Levin also said Her Majesty's absence may impact crowd numbers.
She said: “I imagine that the aides are worried that if the public don't see her, people may think that if she's not there it's not worth us going.”

William & Harry are 'remarkably similar' dads
A body language expert has analysed how Prince Harry and Prince William are similar dads – and how they couldn't be more different in one particular aspect.
Body language expert Judi James spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk and said their parenting styles have "one core difference, and it is a huge one".
The body language expert continued: "The core difference, and it is a huge one, is that It is his responsibility to induct George into royal life and protocol and to prepare him for his destiny while Harry gets to chose how public his children’s lives need to be."
Judi explained: "Part of Harry’s remit as a father seems to be to protect his son from the press, while for William the knowledge will always be there that he shares his first born son with the rest of the country."
As Prince George was only seven when he was told about his royal future, despite this, Judi claimed there are many similarities in their parenting styles.
Judi continued to say: "William and Harry’s parenting traits look remarkably similar and they probably have their mother Diana to thank for being a role-model for a more natural, tactile style that sees both of her boys happy cradling, kissing and romping with their children.
"William and George seem to be developing a true ‘chip off the old block’ bonding, appearing to share experiences from enjoying football or taking part in royal meet and greets at formal events with a sense of empathy and friendship as well as a more protective parental bond."
"Being royal and being future kings singles them out as ‘different’ in terms of status and destiny," Judi added.

Prince Harry expected to take 'potshots' at Camilla
It has been claimed that Prince Harry could be expected to shed a light into his relationship with his stepmother, Camilla, and take 'potshots' at her in his new book.
Royal Correspondent Richard Palmer told the Express's Royal Round-Up that there is speculation the Duke of Sussexes' new memoir will take aim at Camilla.
The royal expert said: "I think there's been quite a lot of it [speculation] in the last week has come about as Tina Brown has got a book coming out called The Palace Papers"
"It [Tina Brown's book] is under embargo until April 26".
He added: "Tina Brown believes that Harry has never like Camilla, never really accepted her and doesn't really think she should be Queen"
"Tina is speculating that he's going to take a few potshots out at her in his memoir".

Visitors at Windsor left stunned as they spot Meghan & Harry
One visitor to Windsor expressed their surprise at seeing the Duke and Duchess as they made a fleeting visit to the castle for the Maundy Thursday ceremony.
The onlooker told the Sun: “I couldn’t believe it when I saw who it was. We waved and they waved back.
“They looked happy and relaxed and waved to everyone on the bus. Charles and the Queen were at Windsor Castle at the same time so they must have met them both.
“It was quite the sight. We knew we might see Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall at the ceremony but never believed we would bump in to Harry and Meghan.”

Emotional week ahead at Invictus Games, says Team UK captain
The Invictus Games Team UK captain has said there could be an emotional week ahead as the group travel to The Hague to take part in the competition.
The team will be joined in the Netherlands by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for the event, which is taking place from April 16-22 after being delayed by the pandemic.
Harry founded the Invictus Games to aid the rehabilitation of injured or sick military personnel and veterans from across the globe, by giving them the challenge of competing in sporting events similar to the Paralympics.
Team UK captain Rachel Williamson, 33, from Rutland in the East Midlands, said the games “really can change people’s lives”.
She told the PA news agency: “It’s done exactly that for me. And I think probably part of my responsibilities is just to make sure people have that awareness of what could happen or will happen during the games.
“Because it can go by so quickly, and it can be quite an emotional week for everybody for different reasons.”
Ms Williamson added: “I just can’t wait to see the rest of the team have that first games experience and just see their faces, of how proud they’re going to feel of themselves for just doing this.”

Veteran says Invictus Games allowed her to ‘rediscover herself’
An Army veteran has said being selected for the Invictus Games has allowed her to rediscover herself and her “can-do attitude”.
Denise Kidger, 51, of Seaham Harbour, County Durham, is to take part in various events at the Invictus Games in The Hague, the Netherlands, which start on Saturday and run until April 22.
Miss Kidger joined the Women’s Royal Army Corps in August 1989, until it disbanded in 1992. She then joined the Adjutant General’s Corps (SPS), serving in overseas posts including Germany and the Falkland Islands.
She was medically discharged in March 2014 due to injuries to her neck, back, hands, shoulder and left knee, mixed anxiety and depressive disorder.
When her 22 and a half years in service ended she “did not just lose a job. I lost a lifestyle and family” and the pride she had serving her country, she said.
But she said adaptive sport “shows you a way that you can still do things and then you see things like the Paralympics on television and your can-do attitude comes back”.
“Without sports recovery, I wouldn’t be here today,” she said.

Meghan caused ‘shudders at palace’
According to a royal expert, Meghan Markle’s pre-wedding interview caused “shudders at the palace”.
Before The Duke and Duchesses wedding, wedding, they hosted the Royal Foundation’s first forum event with Kate Middleton and Prince William.
And, according to the Telegraph, in her new book The Palace Papers, royal author Tina Brown said that Meghan “felt she could get in there and change it all.”
But this comment caused “shudders at the Palace”, where things work at a slower pace.
Ms Brown continued to say: “Frankly, she could have done a great deal to change things had she stuck around, but the thing that’s most baffling is such impatience. She could have spent a year away and come back with a great game plan.”
The royal author also compared Meghan and Princess Diana’s commitment to the royal family and their duty, pointing out, “Diana gave it 16 years.”

Queen, 95, WON’T attend Easter Sunday service
THE Queen WON'T attend her Easter Sunday Service in Windsor this weekend after regretfully pulling out of another special event today.
Sources say Her Majesty, 95, is "not expected" to join members of the Royal Family for the Easter Mattins Service at St. George's Chapel on Sunday – despite usually making an appearance.
It comes after the monarch was due to attend a Maundy Thursday service at St George's Chapel in Windsor today, but was instead represented by Prince Charles and Camilla.
It is the first time the Prince of Wales has taken the Queen's place at the event, which marks an important fixture in the royal calendar.
Today, Charles distributed Maundy money to community stalwarts, before he and Camilla met the Dean of Windsor, The Right Reverend David Conner KCVO and the Lord High Almoner, the Right Reverend Dr. John Inge.
Her reason for pulling out of Sunday's celebration has not been confirmed.

Harry & Meghan's surprise visit 'will be welcome on all sides'
Harry and Meghan's surprise visit to Windsor would have been welcome on all sides, a royal expert has said.
Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said: “It is a wonderful opportunity to clear the air and offer an olive branch. A
"After everything that has gone on it must have taken a lot for Harry and Meghan to go to Windsor.
“Also Maundy Thursday is a very special day for the Queen as it is about forgiveness. She is not one to hold grudges and I think she would have happily welcomed them with open arms.”
It is not known if the couple brought their son Archie, two, and 11-month-old daughter Lilibet — who the Queen has never met.
