Ashley Cain shares tribute to daughter Azaylia on three month anniversary of her death

Ashley Cain has shared a tribute to his late daughter Azaylia to mark the three month anniversary of her death.

The 30 year old and his partner Safiyya Vorajee, 33, lost their baby girl, just eight months, in late April following a battle with leukaemia amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The grieving dad hasn't had an easy time dealing with the loss of his only child and has kept his legion of 1.9million followers updated on how he's been coping.

Taking to his Instagram feed, the Ex On The Beach star shared a heartbreaking video of himself with baby Azaylia lying on his chest as he tried to make her laugh.

In the caption, he wrote: "3 months ago today I lost my hero. She wasn’t just my baby, she was my best friend, my rock and the most precious gift any father could hope, wish or pray for.

"I love you champ more than life itself and I promise to make you proud! #Azaylia," followed by an angel baby emoji, an orange heart emoji as well as an earth emoji.

Ashley, who recently said his body 'isn't recovering' after Covid-19 left him bed bound, also took to his Instagram stories to post a photo of a gorgeous bouquet of orange flowers by her grave.

He added a card to the bunch, which read: "My princess You are my power, You are my purpose, You fill my heart with love & you will forever be my HERO! Daddy," with a hand drawn heart.

Ashley's partner Safiyya immediately responded to the clip as she wrote: "This video …my heart breaks and fills with love at the same time she is the best gift that has ever been given to us and we’re so proud to be her parents," with an orange heart emoji.

She added: "you make her proud everyday and will always continue to do that I love you Azaylia," alongside five orange heart emojis.

His fans also commented on the post as one person wrote: "Amazing little girl and equally amazing parents. You're both making her so proud everyday the 3 of you are an inspiration," with two orange heart emojis.

As another said: "If she could have talked in this moment she’d have told you that you were the best dad ever," with a red heart emoji and a crying emoji.

It comes after Ashley recently confessed he talks to his late daughter every day during a Q&A session with his followers.

One person said: "Other grieving parents. We are in the same area as you. We are struggling. 8 months today for us."

Ashley said losing a children is "the most difficult thing" anyone can experience in life. Firstly I would like to send you my love and heartfelt condolences," he wrote in response.

"From one grieving parent to another I feel your pain, I really do. It is the most difficult thing you will ever experience in life.

He added that he finds comfort in knowing Azaylia is looking down on him and Saffiya, as he bravely continued: "But I really believe our children are watching down from us from heaven and I think it's so important for us to make them proud.

"For me, I find strength in my purpose: To continue the incredible legacy my daughter left behind, be a good person and do good things, help others going through their own struggles and earn my places while I'm here on earth so I can be with my baby again forever in heaven."

The reality TV star continued: "I also speak to my daughter everyday. I never close the door to any signs that I experience. And I carry strong faith that we will be reunited one day."
