City Girls’ Yung Miami Accused of Setting Up Baby Daddy in Shooting

Twitter users speculate that the one-half of the Miami rap duo had something to do with the alleged shooting considering her history of bad relationship with her ex-boyfriend.

AceShowbizYung Miami‘s baby daddy Jai Wiggins has been injured in an alleged shooting. News broke on Monday, June 8 that the father of the City Girls star’s son Jai Wiggins Jr. was shot over the weekend.

While comment of the Instagram post about the alleged shooting was quickly flooded with prayers for his quick recovery, Yung, whose real name is Caresha Romeka Brownlee, remains mum on the incident. Considering her history of bad relationship with her ex-boyfriend, many soon jumped to conclusions that she was involved in the shooting and set him up.

Details of the alleged shooting are still scarce, but judging from an Instagram post by Jai’s sister, he seems to be fine. “Father I thank you, WE love yo,” @juicydelise wrote along with a picture of Jai with his son.

Yung broke up with Jai in June 2015 allegedly due to his violent behavior. She has often opened up about her issues with her baby daddy, claiming that he harassed, stalked her and even threatened to snatch her hair extensions out of her head. In 2019, Jai was sentenced for violating a court order. He had to re-enroll in a domestic violence batterer assessment and intervention program and take parenting classes.

Yung herself was involved in a shooting last August after Kodak Black threatened to punch the then-pregnant raptress from his jail cell. She was seated in her Mercedes-Benz SUV at a North Miami-Dade music studio when the gunfire erupted.

On a video posted on her Instagram page, the 26-year-old star said she ran for cover when the shots rang out. “I don’t know where they came from,” she can be heard saying on the video. Fortunately, she escaped the drive-by shooting unscathed and later gave birth to her daughter with Quality Control head honcho Pierre “Pee” Thomas in October.
