EastEnders’ favourite Danny Dyer is preparing to say his goodbyes to Albert Square later this year after nine years on the hit soap.
But, he has not forgotten his onscreen family and has reunited with several members of the Carter family for rooftop drinks at The Ned, in east London.
Popular Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter actor Danny, 44, was joined on a sunny rooftop in London by his onscreen wife, Linda Carter, played by actress Kellie Bright and two of the onscreen couple’s adult children Nancy Carter, played by actress Maddy Hill and Sam Strike, who played the couple’s son Johnny Carter, who left the soap in 2014.
Maddy, 32, took to her Instagram story and shared a snap of the Carter reunion with her 150k followers as the foursome could be seen laughing and joking as they soaked up the sun.
Danny looked dapper in dark blue jeans with a back T-shirt and a grey checked blazer over the top.
Kellie, 45, wore a multicoloured jacket and had her hair up with scarf wrapped around it, while 32 year old Maddy also opted for colour in a sleeveless printed top paired with black trousers.
Former Johnny Carter star Sam, 28, looked a far cry from baby-faced Johnny and oozed style in black jeans and a fitted white T-shirt and finished the outfit with a pair of dark sunglasses.
Sam also shared a snap of the family get together to his 25.6k followers. In the sweet group photo, the four were all smiles as they cuddled up together with the London skyline as their backdrop.
Sam captioned the snap: “Always fam,” followed by a black heart emoji.
Fans flocked to the post gushing over the Carters together again.
One wrote: “Oh I wish you’d come back! You were brilliant as Johnny,” followed by a heart eyes emoji.
Another penned: “Love this .. wish you were still in Enders,” followed by a red heart emoji.
While a third added: “Omg my fav Jonny in Eastenders! Plz bring him back!!”

Although still on our screens, Danny is set for "plenty of explosive drama" for character Mick Carter ahead of his exit on the BBC One soap later this year.
An EastEnders spokesperson told OK! : "Danny will be leaving EastEnders when his contract comes to an end later this year.
"Danny has made Mick Carter an iconic character which we shall always be grateful for, however we won’t be saying goodbye just yet as there’s still quite some time – and plenty of explosive drama for Mick – to come before he departs Walford."
