Ellie Goulding joins celeb dating app Raya’ in search of pals – despite being married

Ellie Golding is reportedly using celebrity dating app Raya despite being married to Caspar Jopling.

However, the 35 year old is only using the app to look for new celebrity friends within the industry.

The British singer who shares 18 month old son Arthur with Caspar, has the account under her real name of Elena.

The account is also thought to feature photos from her Instagram page.

Ellie uses the Kishi Bashi song It All Began With A Burst as the soundtrack to her profile.

A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column that despite her using the app she is “happily married” and is only looking to connect with “interesting people”.

They said: “Ellie is happily married to Caspar Jopling but she kept her Raya profile open to connect with interesting people.

“She makes it clear that her profile is only for mates as she includes the tagline, 'Here just for friends, so it's nothing untoward.”

In the summer, Ellie admitted that she was “in denial” about having a baby “for a good seven months” after discovering that she was pregnant

The singer had been out of the limelight for the last couple of years after getting married and becoming a mum but has recently released a music video for her latest single Let It Die from her hotly anticipated fifth album Higher Than Heaven.

She told Heart Radio in July that Covid had been "pretty mad," before adding: “Then I had a child. I had an actual child, so that was a big thing. But I was kind of in denial about it for a good seven months until I finally started showing.”

Ellie also recently revealed that Arthur was showing musical promise and that he loves classical pieces.

When asked if her son was musically gifted, she told the Daily Mail: "Yes, which I'm very proud of. He can do scales, he's only 15 months but he's very stingy.

"He is very musical and loves classical music. He's got some musical genes, I'm very happy about that."

She went on to say she is planning to build a music studio at her Gloucestershire home and hopes to nurture Arthur's talent.

"I'm building a music studio," she said. "I had a little shed and I've put all the stuff into it. It's kind of already there.

"It's so I can spend more time with my son and still work, otherwise I'm leaving him. I want to hang out with him all the time.

"Whenever anyone wants a break I can pop down and see him. I want the best of both worlds."
