The two royal wedding gowns topped the list of the most popular wedding dresses of the past decade, according to a new study from British gift specialists Find Me a Gift. The study analyzed the internet search volume for celebrity bridal gowns of the ’10s, per People.

The Duchess of Sussex’s Givenchy off-the-shoulder gown and intricate veil took the no. 1 spot, averaging 21,900 monthly searches in the U.K. since her 2018 nuptials to Prince Harry. Duchess Meghan’s silk gown, from British designer Claire Waight Keller, featured an open bateau neckline, three-quarter sleeves, and a flowing train. She also wore a cathedral-length veil made from silk tulle, which had a trim of hand-embroidered flowers from the Commonwealth’s 52 countries, as well as her home state’s flower, the California poppy.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s lace Alexander McQueen gown won the no. 2 spot with 21,500 average monthly U.K. searches since her nuptials to Prince William in 2011. The fitted V-neck gown, from a creative team led by British designer Sarah Burton, featured French Chantilly lace and English Cluny lace, a sweetheart bodice and a full skirt, as well as a nearly nine-foot train. Duchess Kate also wore a silk tulle veil and the Cartier ‘halo’ tiara.

Other celeb wedding gowns that made the list include Hailey Bieber’s Virgil Abloh for Off-White off-the-shoulder gown, from her 2018 nuptials to Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande’s strapless Vera Wang Haute Couture wedding dress from her intimate May 2021 wedding to Dalton Gomez.
