Phil and Holly secretly guzzle champagne and cheese during Dancing On Ice final

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby secretly guzzled champagne and cheese during last night's explosive Dancing On Ice final.

The dynamic duo were proud hosts of the series and it seems they rewarded themselves for doing a good job with some delightful treats.

Taking to his Snapchat story, Phil, 57, showed what really goes on behind the cameras during the commercial breaks.

In one video, he filmed the show's producers bring in plates full of various types of cheese with a huge box of crackers.

As Phil grabbed some for himself, Holly can be seen wasting no time sipping on the champers.

The couple saw off tough competition from Perri Kiely and Vanessa Bauer, who finished in second place, while Libby Clegg and her pro partner Mark Hanretty ended in third.

When Phillip told Perri he everyone thought he "had it in the bag", the runner-up replied: "I gave everything I wanted to. Joe has come so far. I've made a friend for life with Joe, he's like my brother."

Phillip claimed Joe was the most improved skater "without question" before Holly handed over the trophy.

And some fans were disappointed with the result, as they felt that Perri was "robbed" of the win.

His performance featured a daring death-defying back flip on the ice.

Perri received a staggering perfect score of 40 from the judges after nearly landing on his head during the risky move.

After his performance, breathless Perri said: "I do backflips for days on the floor. Bringing it to the ice, completely different ball game."

Worried Holly, who didn't want to see replay, confessed: "I’m so relieved it's over."
