During the call with Conscious Youth, one of the young volunteers said he’s been teaching younger kids how to play chess. Kate then smiled and said, “You’ll have to give me some lessons, I’m terrible!”
“It’s so impressive to see young people volunteering,” she added. “I think the world would be a better place with more people like you in it.”

Over the past few weeks, William and Kate have been playing their own part in the national volunteering effort. In addition to William’s volunteer efforts with Shout, the royal parents and their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis — delivered homemade pasta to their elderly neighbors. They have also taken part in the weekly "Clap for Carers" campaign to support frontline workers.
