Vanessa Feltz advises buying sex toys for pleasure in coronavirus isolation tips

Vanessa Feltz has suggested buying sex toys and engaging in sexual pleasure as part of her self-isolation tips amid the spread of coronavirus.

The TV star, 58, gave her top tips for dealing with the deadly virus as people begin to go into self-isolation, and one of the quirkier tips was to buy sex toys.

During an appearance on This Morning, Vanessa suggested that instead of stockpiling items such as pasta, rice and toilet roll these should be replaced by sex toys whilst couples are under quarantine.

She explained: "If you've got to stay in with the other half then there's got to be something to do hasn't there, TV is delightful but occasionally you've got to have a break."

Phillip, who was curious to know about her mysterious list, asked the star: "If you've got to self-isolate, what's on your list?"

While Vanessa, who is dating singer Ben Ofoedu, 47, hit back with: "Oh have you heard the word toy? I don't know if they're all made in China, let's hope not – a few of those!"

She hysterically hinted at having sex to keep busy whilst staying indoors, away from the killer virus.

Vanessa laughed: "Stuff to keep yourself jolly and contented and if you have to self isolate then for goodness sake you can't just write lists all the time, there's other things to do."

It comes as 34 cases of coronavirus were recorded in the UK on Wednesday – which has taken the number of infected patients to 85.

Health officials have refused to say exactly whereabouts in the UK the infected patients were diagnosed.

However 80 have been in England, three in Scotland, one in Wales and one in Northern Ireland.
