AS the deadly coronavius continues to spread throughout the world, Portugal has confirmed its first cases in recent days.

Is Portugal safe?
On March 2, Portugal confirmed its first two cases of the Coronavirus.
The infected people had both recently returned from abroad, according to the country's health minister.
One of the men infected is a doctor who had returned from holiday in northern Italy, while the other is a worker from Spain.
Both cases were recorded in Porto.
The number of cases in neighbouring Spain meanwhile, stands at 179.
So far, there has been no announced travel restrictions to Portugal.
