Spoilers: 8 questions we have after Part 5 of Neighbours' 35th anniversary

It’s been a week of love, laughter, tears, terror and all round unmissable drama — see what I did there? — in Erinsborough and beyond, but Neighbours’ 35th anniversary has come to an end — and what an ending it was.

Finn Kelly (Rob Mills) has reigned supreme on the island all week long throughout the late-night instalments, but his villainous nature was finally exposed to Elly Conway (Jodie Anasta) during tonight’s final episode, but — as the credits rolled on the bone-chillingly brilliant offering — it’s safe to say viewers were left with more questions than answers!

Here’s everything we’re dying to know after that sublime final episode.

Is Ellie dead?

After coming to realise that Finn’s villainous nature had returned, Elly absconded with Asta in tow. Unfortunately, he later caught up with them, and — upon revealing that he thinks Elly has betrayed him — he snatched Asta from her grasp, and set off with her.

A time-jump left us with many questions, as we’ve no idea what happened after he took the baby, but, the main one on our lips, is: is Elly still alive?

Will Finn get away with his crimes?

In spite of the terror he’s reigned down on all those on the island, Finn managed to escape without justice, but with his narrative set to continue in the next episode, will justice be served?

Or will he evade justice forever?

Will Paul and Toadie escape danger?

Neighbours fans no doubt breathed a sigh of relief when they realised that Toadie (Ryan Moloney) was alive and well, and matters were made even more joyous when Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) showed up and promised to get him to a hospital.

However, the car that he loaded his injure pal into was owned by none other than Harry Sinclair — who proceeded to point a gun at the two after they threatened to expose Finn.

Will Paul and Toadie manage to get to safety? Or is it curtains for the Ramsay Street stalwarts?

Did Chloe, Pierce, Hendrix, Kyle and Roxy make it off the island before Finn set it alight?

In shocking scenes, an irate Finn set fire to the bush — resulting in the whole island going up in smoke.

With Chloe (April Rose Pegilly), Kyle (Chris Milligan), Hendrix (Benny Turland), Roxy (Zima Anderson) and Pierce (Tim Robards) all having expressed concern over Finn’s state of mind, they were determined to do something about him.

That’s the last we saw of them before the island was set on fire — so are they safe? Or did they perish in the flames?

Will Harlow and Bea die?

In additon to those trapped on the island, there’s also Bea (Bonnie Anderson) and Harlow (Jemma Robinson) — both of whom remain trapped down a mine shaft.

After being bitten by a snake, Harlow complained of throat problems, before her vision started to fade. Last we saw her, she was in a pretty bad way, but will both perish down the mine?

Or will the others have found them in time?

Or will they perish in the fire, perhaps?

With one more death confirmed, it’s not looking good for them!

How does Susan figure into everything?

In the end-of-episode preview, Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) is in Finn’s company, and she seemingly finds herself in danger as a result.

Does Finn head back to Ramsay Street and take her hostage perhaps? Or does she stumble upon him herself?

Will Jane and Des live happily-ever-after?

The final wedding of the expo saw Jane Harris (Annie Jones) marry Des Clarke (Paul Keane) in emotional scenes, and — given their turbulent history when it comes to walking down the aisle — it’s a miracle that the ceremony took place at all!

Nonetheless, they tied the knot and all was good in the world, but will the two Ramsay Street legends get the happy ending they deserve?

Here’s hoping!

Who is the final death?

In addition to all the aforementioned questions, the biggest is undoubtedly in regards to the final demise — and the identity of the unfortunate mainstay that will lose their life.

Only time will tell who it is!

Neighbours continues Monday 23rd March at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5.
