This month’s Full Moon is due to peak in the early evening hours on Thursday, June 24. Known to some as the Full Strawberry Moon, the lunar orb will reach peak brightness by about 7.39pm BST. More importantly, the Full Moon will grace the night skies in the sign of Capricorn – and that means a bit of good fortune could be waiting around the corner.
Astrologers believe the Moon’s journey through the Zodiac signs affects everything to do with your inner self.
The Moon rules over your deepest dreams and desires, as well as your thoughts and fantasies.
In stark contrast, the Sun rules over how you interact with the outside world.
On the day of a Full Moon, the Sun and Moon are in opposition, meaning they face each other at a 180-degree angle.
Critically, the Moon also makes a very positive aspect with the Planet of Luck, Jupiter.
According to astrologer Jamie Partridge of AstrologyKing.com, the Moon forms a 60-degree sextile with the gas giant.
Mr Partridge said: “So the spiritual meaning of the Full Moon June 2021 astrology relates to good fortune, optimism and generosity.
“The June 2021 full moon aligns very closely with a fortunate fixed star that is associated with success, ambition, honesty and spirituality.
“So this is an excellent moon phase to combat the lies and deception of the June 10 solar eclipse.”

This Full Moon also happens to be a Supermoon – the last Supermoon of the year – meaning it will be slightly bigger and brighter than usual.
Supermoons occur when a Full Moon falls at or near the lunar perigee – the closest distance to Earth.
Although the change in brightness and size might not be discernable to the naked eye, this astronomical phenomenon is bound to amplify the Moon’s energies.
And there is very good reason to want to experience this Strawberry Moon to its full extent.
With the Sun-Moon opposition, all aspects related to your home and family come to light.
This is also true of your intimate relationships, which are going to come into sharper focus.
Mr Partridge explained on his website: “Opposing forces such as work versus home, or what you need versus what you want, create inner tension and external pressures.
“This can lead to conflict and crises that drain your energy.”
With the Moon-Sextile-Jupiter, honesty and optimism are going to flow into your home.
There is an opportunity to establish new friendships and to connect on a genuine and honest level.
Mr Patridge believes this is also a great lunar aspect to broaden your horizons, particularly through educating yourself and travel – Covid regulations permitting, of course.
He added: “In your professional life, a feeling for social trends makes this is the ideal time to make a presentation or work on marketing or public relations.
“Increased popularity means you can captivate a wide audience.”
