LATVIA WITH GUY MARTIN

★★★

11.55pm, SBS Viceland

The easygoing motorcycle racer takes a break from movie stunt re-enactments to trace his Baltic roots in his own Who Do You Think You Are? style project. In a requisite vintage car as old as himself, Martin visits significant spots in his family tree, learns much about the Latvian Legion, meets long-lost cousins, and seems genuinely moved by the experience.

A make-up artist lets off steam by scaling cliffs. And a Brisbane artist makes enormous interactive musical installations to delight young and old.

Helm simply gives a disinterested tour of his favourite eateries – Vietnamese, English pub and Italian – in his Islington hood.
