If you’re looking to follow in Beyonce’s footsteps and splash out on your own brutalist-style piece of architect for your next home, a property for sale in London’s North Kensington might fit the bill.
The billionaire singer and her husband Jay-Z forked out a massive $200million for their Malibu mega-mansion fashioned from raw concrete, but this London flat for sale is closer to home and is a fraction of the price.
The two-bedroom leasehold flat is in an iconic building called Trellick Tower that was designed by Hungarian-born architect Erno Goldfinger, and has an asking price of £550,000.

The property was designed by Hungarian-born architect Erno Goldfinger, who moved to Britain in the 1930s
The architect moved to Britain in the 1930s and was an important figure in the British Modern Movement.
He believed that high-rise housing was the answer to Britain’s post-war housing problems.
While that conviction won him many fans, it also attracted a fair share of detractors, including the James Bond author Ian Fleming who named his most notorious villain after the architect.
Trellick Tower is a Grade II listed block with 31 floors. It was built in 1972 and has a separate service tower creating a distinctive silhouette.
To maximise the living space, Goldfinger moved all of the logistical aspects of the design – including lifts, stairs and even communal laundrettes – into the service tower.
The heating system and water tanks are housed there too, in the plant room at the top, which allows water to run down to apartments using gravity, minimising piping.
Similar spatial concerns are evident inside of the flats, with windows having been pushed to their largest dimensions to provide as much light as possible, while many of the doors slide rather than swing.
The leasehold flat for sale has two bedrooms including this double bedroom with plenty of storage space
The living room has large windows across the length of one wall to help maximise the light
The kitchen has space for a dining table and chairs, and includes storage along an entire wall
The entrance to the flat for sale is on the third floor, with the living spaces unfolding across the fourth floor, including a living room and two bedrooms.
There is wood flooring through most of the flat and a balcony provides views of London.
The listing for the leasehold property provides no details about the time remaining on the lease, or the annual service charges or ground rents.

The 30,000 square foot compound marked the second most expensive real estate deal in the country.
The Break My Soul hitmaker and the Roc Nation rap mogul’s seaside estate is located on an eight-acre bluff that overlooks the Pacific Ocean in the Paradise Cove area nicknamed Billionaires’ Row.

Despite paying the jaw-dropping price, the A-listers actually got a deal on the home, which was first listed for a hefty $295million.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s L-shaped compound features vast concrete hallways as well as floor-to-ceiling glass panels as shown in photos taken by Morley Construction.
The expansive backyard boasts a pool and ends with a cliff that overlooks the beach.
The home, built with high concrete walls and offering plenty of space, was designed by Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, who is also working on disgraced rapper Kanye West’s Malibu home.
