Adele’s make-up artist hints comeback is soon with cryptic post about ‘exciting things’ and glamorous pictures of singer – The Sun

ADELE'S make-up artist Michael Ashton has sent the singer's fans into a tizz after he teased "exciting news" was on its way.

Michael, 38, has worked with Adele for 12 years and posted the cryptic message to his Instagram stories.

The post featured a black and white photo of Adele, 31, looking into a mirror doing her eyeliner and holding up a phone where she is FaceTiming with Michael.

He captioned the photo: "BTW…. EXCITING NEWS COMING SOON!!

"GET READY TO GET ON BOARD."

Fans were hopeful the news could mean Adele's comeback album is only around the corner.

The singer has not released an album since 2015's 25, and had previously said she would release her fourth studio album this year.

Adele had recently said her fourth album would be released in September this year and is being touted as her big comeback.

The as-yet untitled album will be her first in five years, following up 2015’s 25 which featured hits Hello and When We Were Young.

Her second record, 21, is the best-selling album of the 21st century so far, having sold more than 25million copies.

One of her long-time collaborators has described Adele's work on the album, saying she's never sounded better.

OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder , who co-wrote and produced her songs Rumour Has It and Remedy, told The Sun have teamed up again for the new album.

Despite saying he was going to “stay completely mum on new Adele”, he teased: “I’ll just say that she sounds better than ever.”

But fans were recently worried Adele would join the likes of Lady Gaga and Alanis Morrisette and delay the release of the album to the coronavirus pandemic.

It's a comment Adele, 31, made during an Instagram live feed between producers Baby Face and Teddy Riley that has fans concerned.

When the stream was interrupted due to a technical glitch Adele said: "Come on, it’s 2020 – we ain’t meant to get what we want!"

Fans think this means she has pushed back the release of her upcoming album.

It will be her first release since she announced her split from husband Simon Konecki, 45, last April after seven years together.
