Abi Franklin (played by Sally Carman) has endured a heartbreaking year on Coronation Street. She’s been struggling to cope ever since her son Seb (Harry Visinoni) was brutally attacked and died in hospital after sustaining severe injuries. Abi has been left loathing Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) over the attack and has refused to forgive her for her role in the hate crime. With her first Christmas without Seb fast approaching, will Abi get revenge by putting an end to Kelly’s life?
in scenes yet to air on the ITV soap, Abi discovers Kelly has moved into No.7 and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) has given her a job at the barbers.
Kelly’s thrilled when Maria offers her an apprenticeship but when Abi clocks her she instantly becomes unsettled.
The news of Kelly’s job infuriates Abi as it brings back the memories of losing her beloved son Seb.
Later on, Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) tells Abi she found Kelly in a bad way and, while she can’t forgive her for what she did, the hatred has to stop.
Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) finds Kelly packing her belongings following the tense moment with Abi earlier on.
Kelly explains for Abi’s sake, she needs to find somewhere else to live.
Aadi urges Kelly to speak to Abi and try and move forward, but she makes it clear she doesn’t think that would be a good idea.
When Abi realises Kelly has left flowers in Seb’s memorial garden, she’s left fuming.
That same day she sees red when she spots Kelly enjoying a meal with Aadi in the bistro.
Kevin Webster ( Michael Le Vell) tries to reason with Abi, pointing out terrorising Kelly will do no good, but Abi’s unrepentant, vowing that soon she won’t have to worry about Kelly.
In upcoming scenes, Abi bars Kelly on her way into the barbers and Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) watches concerned.
Abi later tells the lawyer she just wants Kelly out of her life for once and all.
However, when Imran reminds Abi she has done some shameful things herself she slaps him across the face.
When Maria quizzes Kelly over why she failed to turn up to work, she lies in front of Abi and tells her boss she couldn’t be bothered.
Maria tells Kelly she’s sacked from the role and she hits rock bottom.
The Coronation Street character is then set to be found in a terrible state having taken some spice.
With Kelly now struggling and jobless, will Abi decide against getting revenge on her?
Or will she still be driven to kill Kelly to get her vengeance following Seb’s death?
Christmas is going to be difficult for Abi without Seb, so viewers will have to wait and see if she does anything drastic in a bid to make herself feel better.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
