DANCING on Ice's Joe Swash beat Perri Kiely by just ONE PERCENT in a shock result.
The TV presenter won the ITV skating competition last night alongside pro-partner Alex Murphy, leaving Diversity star Perri in second place.
Many viewers were shocked by the result after Perri, 24, achieved higher scores than Joe, 38, throughout the series and now the final voting figures have revealed just how close it actually was between the two men.
The third place vote saw Joe with 43.20% of the vote, while Perri had 41.48% and Libby Clegg received 15.31%.
That placed the Paralympian in third place, and sent Joe and Perri through to perform their interpretations of Torvill and Dean's classic Bolero routine.
The final voting figures were even closer, with Joe securing 50.53% and Perri painfully close behind with 49.47%.
The voting results could come as no surprise to some fans of the show, after they accused Joe of 'robbing' Perri of the title.
It was a night of perfect 10s and standing ovations as the finalists put their heart, body and soul into three intense performances.
Some viewers were thrilled to see dark horse Joe win – after he started off in week one at the bottom of the leaderboard.
But others were disappointed that Perri lost out after his "outstanding" Boléro and claimed he'd been "robbed".
One said: "There ya go. I've said it many times before…give the British public a vote at your peril. Guaranteed to f*** it up. I like Swashy, lovely lovely fella, but the show is about the BEST dancer on ice. Perri absolutely robbed."
But others felt Joe deserved the win considering he had no previous dance experience, unlike Perri.
One wrote: "Joe Swash has had no dance background, no idea or practice on how to balance or trick or lift at all. To have his journey was beyond me! Well done, truly deserved! #DancingOnIce."
Even the judges – John Barrowman, Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Perri's Diversity co-star Ashley Banjo – seemed shocked by the result.
After Joe's name was called out, the camera cut to the panel making their way down to the ice to offer their congratulations.
All four appeared stumped by the news, with John even seen saying "wow" to Jayne, with his mouth wide open as she turned to him.
