David Beckham is making his own honey as Victoria reveals he's building a beehive at their Cotswolds home

DAVID Beckham revealed his latest lockdown project at his £6million Cotswolds home is making honey.

The 45-year-old's wife Victoria captured him in the thick of building his own beehive in the back garden of their idyllic country escape.

Taking to Instagram, fashion designer Victoria, 46, documented the former footballer hammering nails into a wooden frame with instructions of his build infront of him.

Narrating the clip, she explained: "And David decided to start building… beehives."

She asked: "Is that your new project darling?" to which, David replied: "It is" while fixing his new contraption together.

Delighted with his handy work, the sports star, who has been based in the Cotswolds since March, said the plan is to make their own honey as he fitted his new beehives.

He said with a smile at the end of the clip: "We'll be very happy when we've got our own honey".

David has certainly been making the most of being in the countryside when it comes to posing for pictures for social media.

The former England star shared yet another rustic shot on Instagram last night – and he just so happened to capture a gorgeous backdrop too.

The Beckhams are currently on lockdown at their sprawling mansion in the Cotswolds, so much of David's recent content has seen him posing in a field.

For his latest post, the father-of-four stood in front of a stunning sunset whilst holding onto a large stick.

David captioned the photo: "No Hat #runoutofhats but sunset ?," and the picture has already been liked over 780,000 times.

Of course, his 63.1 million followers are used to seeing him in one of his trendy flat caps, but instead David decided to show off his shaven head.

David decided to shave all of his hair off whilst in lockdown, and it seems his fans are more than happy with his new look.

Taking to the comments, one follower wrote: "You look good without hat ?," while another added: "handsome ???."

A third person posted: "No hat, but strong sock game mate??," and a fourth said: "You always look so sharp!! ?."

Even his wife Victoria's hairdresser commented on the post, but referenced David's impeccable dress sense instead.

Ken Paves wrote: "Okay… I need to start dressing better when I go walking!!"

The former sports star certainly looked dapper in a navy blue blazer, which he teamed with beige corduroy trousers and a pale blue shirt.

David's latest snap comes after he previously dressed as a farmer wearing a woolly jumper and a flat cap last week.

Leaning on a walking stick, David stopped off for the photo in the stunning countryside as he posed next to long grass peppered with daisies.

Sharing his snap on Instagram, he mused: "Another day , another walk & another hat."

When his pal and Modern Family star Jesse Tyler commented: "My garden needs some work!!! Come over!!" David quipped: "Haha on my way!"
