EastEnders fans were left heartbroken once again as in Tuesday's episode, young mum Lola Pearce struggled with her speech as her condition worsens.
Lola (played by Danielle Harold) has recently returned home to make sure she has more time with her young daughter Lexi, but she has just weeks to live after her palliative chemotherapy failed to work.
However, since she has returned home ,Lola's condition has been getting even worse and in Tuesday's episode viewers watched as Lola struggled to speak.
As she spoke to husband Jay, Lola struggled to say a full sentence and her condition is going downhill fast.
When the sad scenes aired, fans were quick to share their feelings on social media.
One fan said: "Honestly I am dreading the day Lola dies. If I'm this emotional now, imagine on the day."
Another heartbroken viewer wrote: "Lola starting to lose her speech and worrying about Janet seeing her. My heart is breaking. #EastEnders."
While another upset fan said on Twitter: "Jesus christ. This stuff with Lola is absolutely heartbreaking."
Yet another fan admitted they're not ready for the coming weeks too, as they said: "The scenes with Lola are the most heartbreaking ever…and i think it's going to get worse .. hankies are at the ready."
As Tuesday's episode continued, Jay arranged for the local reverend to visit Lola.
Reverend Mills shared her own experiences of death with Lola, before telling her that death is just the end of a "chapter" and she will be okay.
After the pair spoke, Lola told her husband that she wants to be baptised like her daughter so she can end up in the same place as her after death.
Fans were left in tears following the emotional exchange, with one fan saying: "Crying my eyes out at this scene between Reverend Mills and Lola. Such a beautiful scene."
Another said: "What a beautiful scene between Lola and Rev Irene THIS is where the storyline’s strengths lie.
"Not all the random and unnecessary drama just for the sake of it. Danielle Harold is breaking my heart."
The heartbreaking storyline is set to continue in the coming weeks before Lola takes her final breath at the end of May.
The heart-wrenching moments won't end there either, as pictures have shown Jay carrying his wife's coffin into a church as she makes her final journey.
