CHANTELLE Atkins is left facing a big decision when Mitch stumbles across Gray’s therapy card next week in EastEnders.
Mitch will grow increasingly suspicious of his son-in-law and convince himself he’s having an affair on the BBC One soap.
EastEnders' scenes set to air later this week will see Mitch grow certain that Gray is having an affair after Jack mentions he saw him heading into a hotel.
Mitch’s suspicions are piqued when Gray flies into a rage when he questions him about the hotel.
But as fans will know, Gray is actually hiding the fact that he has been suspended from work following complications with Whitney and Kush's trials for the murder and assault of Leo King.
The solicitor is infuriated further when Mitch uncovers that he's lost his job and offers him money.
Gray then lashes out at Chantelle, thinking she’s spread his secret.
Next week’s episodes of EastEnders will see Chantelle continue to reel from the new injuries Gray has inflicted upon her.
But she keeps her injuries hidden from him as she starts her new job at the call centre.
When Gray finally clocks the damage he's caused, he’s mortified and insists it won’t happen again.
Later, Mitch notices that Chantelle is struggling with her work and home life balance and offers his services.
But as Mitch is helping around the house, he picks up Gray’s therapy card.
Chantelle is mortified by his discovery and lost for words.
But will she tell Mitch the truth about why Gray is attending therapy?
EastEnders fans have watched Chantelle become embroiled in a harrowing domestic abuse storyline as she suffers physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her husband.
Viewers know that Gray has been attending therapy to try and help him overcome his violent streak, but so far the sessions don't seem to have changed his ways.
Fans watched the abuse came to a nasty head at the beginning of this year when Gray broke Chantelle’s arm.
Gray was aghast when she revealed her pregnancy test had come back negative and angrily twisted her arm as she tried to walk away from him.
The extent of his manipulation became clear when Chantelle then apologised to him for making him angry.
This week viewers watched him take his frustrations out on the hairdresser yet again after getting suspended from work.
Gray grabbed Chantelle behind the back of the neck and pushed her up against the kitchen cupboards, throttling her.
