KOURTNEY Kardashian and her ex Scott Disick are said to be 'closer than ever' following his split with Sofia Richie.
Scott, 37, and 21-year-old Sofia called it quits this week after almost three years together and are apparently not getting back together.
Now a source has revealed to The Sun Online that Scott is getting close to the mother of his three children again, as he's always been able to lean on her.
"Scott and Sofia didn't split because of Kourt, but it was certainly a huge factor in her very messy life with Scott and all his issues," the insider said.
"It was Kourt who could control his behaviour, and made him toe the line – she never could. Sofia is still so young, but it seemed like they were really in love. Or at least, she was in love with him."
The continued: "Now he's running back to the Kardashians – and everyone thinks he’ll be begging Kourt to get back with him again.
"Kourt is a shoulder to cry on, supporting Scott through the break-up, getting him back to rehab again and bringing him on the family holiday too."
The source also revealed that Kourtney, 41, may also have a soft spot for her ex too.
"I think Kourt misses Scott: he made her happy, but she also knows that he has addiction issues that ruined her life and until he gets those sorted she doesn't want him back.
"Everyone says if she has another baby, it will be with him. It’s such a messy situation but they’re closer than ever right now. He’s really close to her and all of the family, and she’s happy to be there for him.
"Her sisters would love him to clean up his act and get back with her, but who knows if it’ll actually happen this time?" they added.
Kourtney had an on-off relationship with Scott from 2006 until 2015, after the pair met one another at a friend's party in Mexico.
They share three children together; ten-year-old Mason, seven-year-old Penelope and Reign, five, but the couple have never been married.
Their romance was plagued by rumours of cheating, and Kourtney was even seen crying on Keeping Up With The Kardashians after finding out about one of his infidelities.
The mother-of-three also believed that Scott suffered with a drinking problem, which has led to rehab stints – most recently at the beginning of May.
But now, Scott is said to be "taking care of his personal issues" and focusing on his "health and mental state" following his split with Sofia.
And just this week he spent his birthday with Kourtney as her family threw him a party for his special day.
Despite recent drama, the famous siblings went all out for Scott as they celebrated with an intimate outdoor party.
The dad-of-three was treated to a personalised birthday cake, an ice cream cart and a huge bouncy castle for the younger kids to enjoy.
