PETER Andre's wife Emily has revealed her heartbreak over sending her three-year-old son Theo back to nursery.
The A&E doctor clashed with her husband over sending their kids back to school amid the coronavirus crisis.
Despite wanting her kids to head back to class, she has explained it was tougher for her youngest than daughter Amelia.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, Emily said: "Amelia's first few days have been great and she's really enjoyed seeing her friends and teacher.
"Of course, with younger children it's more difficult to get them to social distance, but the nursery is obviously going to try their best.
"At the same time, if Theo fell over and hurt himself I would want someone to give him a cuddle because he's only three and doesn't understand what coronavirus is."
Emily and Peter debated sending their kids back to school in their new reality show, Life With The Andres on The Sun’s YouTube channel.
While Peter was firmly on the side of keeping their young kids at home, the dad-of-four disagreed with Emily, 30, over the kids returning to school.
He tells viewers: "We very rarely have opposite views – but I don’t think they should go back tomorrow and Emily thinks they should.
“The only reason I’m going with what Emily says is because she’s a doctor.
“If it was up to me I’d say no."
"Me and you have different views on this … Even if there's one tiny bit of risk, why would I wanna put my kids in that position?
"I feel like we're putting them in a situation where they are the guinea pigs."
"I have got this fear of the unknown, and just think they've all been happy here, safe here."
Peter has been taking care of the kids while Emily goes to work for the NHS.
He adds: "The only reason I would do that is because you are a doctor and if you think it is safe then I believe you."
And Emily reasons: "There's a risk when you step outside your front door of anything …
"I understand for you it feels like this big fear that is outside of our control. The point is there is no right or wrong answer, it's on balance what you think is the right thing to do."
Today Education Secretary Gavin Williamson said primary school kids won't go back to school before the summer.
Despite plans for all primary school kids to return for a month before the summer holidays, the politician admitted it had been ditched.
Children's commissioner Anne Longfield has accused the Government of prioritising the reopening of pubs over the education of Britain's kids.
She warned children will end up with huge gaps in their education and have been "forgotten".
- LIFE With The Andres is on Wednesdays and Sundays from 7.30pm at youtube.com/thesun.
