Rochelle Humes says daughters ‘wished and prayed’ for a brother before the baby boy announcement – The Sun

ROCHELLE Humes says her daughter Alaia prayed and wished for a baby brother before she found out the news.

The Saturdays singer, 31, and husband Marvin, 35, are already proud parents to Alaia, six, and Valentina, three.

However, Marvin wanted a boy so he would get some support in the house – a sentiment shard by their oldest daughter.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain with Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins, the JLS star said: "She actually prayed and wished – she picked up a few flowers a few weeks ago when we told her."

Rochelle added: "Her birthday's coming up – and obviously she didn't know – and she said 'when I blow out my candles on my birthday, I'm going to wish for a baby brother'.

"She's obsessed with having a brother for some reason. So she's absolutely delighted."

Marvin was pleased by the news, as he started the interview with:"Finally, Ben! Finally, we got there in the end!"

Rochelle added: "You know how overruled he is in this household, so he is chuffed."

The presenter gave fans a glimpse of her baby bump as she revealed the gender earlier this week.

Posing in front of the mirror in a white co-ord set, the mother-of-two had a big smile on her face as she captioned the snap: "Hey lil man ?? I can see you today."

The pair revealed earlier in March that they are expecting a third child, telling followers: "There's a baby bunny in my oven."

The 31-year-old presenter posted a shot of their ultrasound scan on Easter Sunday alongside a pair of knitted boots and a board that read: "We're eggspecting. Baby Humes. October 2020."

Marvin posted the same picture, writing: "And there's another Bunny in the oven! Baby Humes due Oct 2020 ❤️our hearts are so full we are truly blessed ??."
