Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) has suffered greatly in Emmerdale, after he was sent to prison for a crime he didn’t commit, and — in the coming episodes — he’s overjoyed at the prospect of being a free man once more, but he’s somewhat shocked when he learns that there’s a possibility that Kim Tate (Claire King) possibly hired someone to kill Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough).
Following Graham’s death, Marlon found himself prime suspect in the investigation into his adversary’s murder, but viewers know full well that he didn’t do it.
In the coming episodes, Marlon is overwhelmed by the support of his pals and family, but he’s horrified to discover that April (Amelia Flanagan) is being bullied.
He informs the young girl that real friends are loyal — which is what makes the discovery of Charity’s (Emma Atkins) betrayal all the harder for him to comprehend.
Marlon forces Charity to reveal that she and Ryan (James Moore) stole Graham’s money, but he’s later rocked to learn that Kim may have actually hired someone to kill Graham.
With his distrust at an all time high, will he perhaps take on Kim?
Perhaps he holds her responsible for his time in prison and therefore he could be out for revenge.
Or at the very least, answers.
If he does take her on, will he find himself in danger as a result? We know what Kim’s capable of, so it’s certainly a possibility.
