Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) is set to take desperate action as she makes plans to exit Walford in EastEnders as the pressure from Michaela reaches new heights.
Seeing no other way out and convinced that she could be going to prison for years, Whitney decides that she has no choice to flee.
And Shona has revealed that saying goodbye to her friends and loved ones in Albert Square is ‘the hardest thing that Whitney has ever done’.
But with Michaela tormenting her and a trial approaching, Shona reckons Whitney sees that she would be trapped otherwise.
The actress sighed: ‘She feels devastated, she’s embarrassed, she knows that everyone is talking about her. It’s just another thing that people are judging her on. She feels like she’s completely on her own. Even though she has all her family. She just feels completely isolated.
‘She feels like nobody wants her around. The whole of the market is talking about her. She just feels like she did do a bad thing, it was all her fault, she shouldn’t have come to the hospital that time to Leo, she shouldn’t have tried to help the situation, it’s all her fault and she’d be better off just running away from it all. Like her brother did.
‘If she left, she would miss everyone terribly. It would be awful, she thinks it’s the only way out but she’d miss everyone so much. It would be the hardest thing she’s ever done.’
Is Whitney set to make a shocking mistake that could make things even worse?
