Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) was devastated when Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) disappeared from his life in Hollyoaks, and in her absence, he’s been growing closer to Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart), but matters become somewhat complicated when Sienna makes an unexpected return in the coming episodes.
As passion ensues between Brody and Liberty, Sienna makes a triumphant return to the village, and — given that she’s been watching the pair fall in love via a hidden camera in her doll’s house — it’s safe to say that there will be plenty of conflict ahead.
Speaking about the developing relationship between Brody and Liberty, actress Anna Passey said: ‘Sienna is heartbroken to see him forming a romantic relationship with her sister. She had good reason to leave and is sad to see him moving on, and with Liberty of all people!’
Actor Adam Woodward — who plays Brody — added: ‘Liberty is carrying his child… Even though it was meant to be his and Sienna’s child, he can’t help but feel protective, and have feelings for Liberty for carrying their baby.’
While the situation will no doubt be complicated for Sienna, it’s going to be even more so for Brody, as he’ll likely have to make a choice between the two women in his life.
On this, Adam said: ‘Well… Liberty has fallen for Brody, and she falls hard! Brody has love for her, but it can’t compete with Sienna. Liberty is really going to struggle seeing Brody reignite that fire with Sienna. Which anyone would understand, right? I think they will figure it all out though, they have to.’
Anna added: ‘Brienna forever! I think Brody and Sienna are made for each other, and I think they are genuinely in love. I think Brody is hurt and confused by his sense of responsibility for the baby, but I think his heart truly belongs to Sienna. (Sorry Lib!)’
Last we saw her, Sienna vowed never to return to Hollyoaks after she discovered that Brody was in cahoots with her archenemy Warren (Jamie Lomas), but something obviously changes her mind.
Anna said: ‘Sienna has been on the run in Wales with her twins. She has been keeping her son, Sebastian in a hospital, but the care he really needs is back with the specialist doctor on the children’s ward at Dee Valley, so she has decided to come home, to get him the care he needs.’
Hollyoaks continues Friday 27 March at 7pm on E4.
