Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid said a moving goodbye to one of her colleagues as she announced he was leaving the show.
Speaking directly to the camera as the ITV breakfast news show came to a close, Susanna explained she wanted to give a special shout out to producer Ben Briscoe who was leaving them for “pastures new”.
Before handing over to Lorraine Kelly for her show, the 50-year-old told viewers at home: “Just before we go to Lorraine, I just want to say a huge thank you to our lovely Ben Briscoe who is leaving us for pastures new.”
Susanna, who has been hosting with a number of guest stars, added that the team was going to miss him, before wishing him well in his new venture.
The former Strictly star said: “He's our producer this morning, going to miss you Ben."
This comes shortly after Susanna also waved goodbye to Good Morning Britain’s director Erron Gordon.
The pair had worked together on the ITV series since the show first debuted on our screens in 2014.
When the news was announced he was stepping down for a new role, Susanna sang his praises as she shared her sadness over the end of an era.
She wrote on her Twitter account at the time: “Our talented Director @errongordon is so good that when Renee Zellweger needed to cast a TV Director in Bridget Jones 3 she picked him.”
Mum-of-two Susanna then added: “He’s been with @gmb since the start. He’s the best in the business.”

She rounded off the post, writing: “Congratulations on your new job Erron – we’ll miss you.”
Ever since Susanna’s former co-host Piers Morgan left the show following his infamous walkout, the star has been hosting with a number of guest hosts.
These include Adil Ray, Martin Lewis, Ed Balls, Richard Madeley and, more recently, her close friend Robert Rinder, aka Judge Rinder.
Opening up about hosting for the first time with one of his nearest and dearest, Robert recently said he had nothing but respect for his co-star.
He explained: “Susanna Reid makes GMB look effortless, digesting acres of news while riding a constantly shifting schedule and all the time maintaining staggering levels of poise and focus.”
Robert then quipped: “It was the best encounter I’ve ever had with my clothes on.”
