The three remaining contestants of The Masked Singer’s third season took to the stage for the last time over the course of season three’s two part finale.
Viewers have had mixed feelings towards the latest season, as most of the celebrity singers had already been exposed after a series of easy clues.
The Frog was correctly identified as rapper Bow Wow, while most fans also recognised the voice of the Turtle’s Jesse McCartney during his earlier performances.
This year’s winner was finally announced as the Night Angel, the mysterious purple-clad singer that has impressed judges and fans alike during her stint on The Masked Singer season three.

Although the Night Angel taking the crown came as a shock to some, almost no one was surprised when Real Housewives star Kandi Burruss was revealed to be under the mask.
Kandi bowed out the series with a rendition of the classic tune River Deep, Mountain High by Tina Turner.
Since the Night Angel was introduced, Masked Singer fans were quick to point out references to Kandi Burruss’ appearances on Empire, as well as her four Grammy awards and writing credits for iconic pop group Destiny’s Child.
Kandi also became a well-known name thanks to her time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and viewers were certain they recognised her singing voice from moments throughout her TV career.
Bow Wow took on yet another rap classic, Bad Boy for Life by Black Rob, Mark Curry & P. Diddy and came third while Jesse Armstrong sang Lewis Capaldi’s Before You Go to become this year’s runner-up.
After entertaining the crowd with his energetic stage presence each episode, some fans had tipped the Frog to end up as this year’s victor.
Moreover, a merchandise leak seemed to confirm the purple-suited contestant as the winner when he appeared on a t-shirt alongside previous winning costumes, Monster and the Fox.
Kandi Burruss’ success was met with mixed opinions from viewers, as many thought her vocal range couldn’t compare to the powerful singing voice of Jesse McCartney as the Turtle.
