Dennis Rickman (Bleu Landau) met a tragic end in the fateful Thames boat party last month, after being locked below deck by Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).
Despite being responsible for Dennis’ death, Ian has been hailed a hero by other Albert Square residents because of his attempts to save the youngster as the doomed boat sank.
Tensions have been rising since the catastrophic accident and with more people suspecting Ian of having a hand in Dennis’ fate at the party, will the truth finally be discovered?
Will Ian get caught over Dennis’ death in EastEnders?
In EastEnders tonight Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) discovers further evidence that Ian could have been complicit in Dennis’ death.
Dotty already had her suspicions about Peter’s dad and after she hears a voicemail message in which Dennis can be heard pleading for Ian to let him out of the boat, she will be even more sure of his involvement.
If Ian ends up confessing the truth to Dotty when she confronts him, and if he will be able to convince her to keep his secret, remains to be seen, but the more people that know about Ian’s crime the more likely he is to be caught.

Whether the truth becomes widely known or not in Walford isbeing kept under wraps at the moment.
However, with no announcement from long-standing EastEnders actor Adam that he is departing from the soap, fans can assume that his character won’t be caught and sent to prison to serve an extended sentence, as that would require Adam to take a break from the show.
EastEnders continues on Thursday 5 March at 7:30pm on BBC One.
