“Social distancing Day 12: Today my kids wanted me to wear my wedding dress at lunch and I couldn’t think of a reason not to,” she wrote in her tweet.
Soon, others began replying to her tweet with images of wedding dresses in unusually casual places, sparking a glamorous trend.
Some shared photos of their significant others getting glam.
Other users weren’t afraid to get all dressed up all by themselves.
A few saw it as a great way to up your style game in isolation.
Sittenfield isn’t the only social media user to start a quarantine fashion trend — others have created their own fashion shows and red carpets.
Once social isolation is over, it’s sure to be a very fashionable time.
