Author Curtis Sittenfeld took to Twitter to share a photo of herself dressed in a wedding dress and veil, casually eating lunch with her kids.

“Social distancing Day 12: Today my kids wanted me to wear my wedding dress at lunch and I couldn’t think of a reason not to,” she wrote in her tweet.

Soon, others began replying to her tweet with images of wedding dresses in unusually casual places, sparking a glamorous trend.

Some shared photos of their significant others getting glam.

Other users weren’t afraid to get all dressed up all by themselves.

A few saw it as a great way to up your style game in isolation.

Sittenfield isn’t the only social media user to start a quarantine fashion trend — others have created their own fashion shows and red carpets.

Once social isolation is over, it’s sure to be a very fashionable time.
