Fears for missing Saige Stiles, 15, who vanished after telling friend she was being 'followed' on way to school

A TEENAGER has vanished after telling her friend she was being "followed" while on her way to school – now, police believe she may be in danger.

Officials said Saige Stiles, 15, was last seen walking to school Monday morning near Port St. Lucie, Florida, about a block away from Treasure Coast High School.

Port St. Lucie Police said the teen was on the phone with a friend while walking to school, and she said someone was following her.

Saige never made it to school, as the friend alerted authorities after becoming concerned and provided the 16-year-old's location.

When police arrived at the scene just before 7am, they recovered a backpack and phone.

However, police say they found footage that showed Saige, after the 911 call, walking behind houses in the area and didn't appear to be in any danger or distress.
