Man gunned down in Harlem — NYC’s third fatal shooting in eight hours

A man was shot and killed in Harlem early Saturday — the third fatal shooting in the city in an 8-hour span.

Police found the 58-year-old victim, who has not been identified, near W. 101st Street and Amsterdam Avenue just after midnight with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

The NYPD is still searching for the shooter.

Earlier Friday, Ancil Blackman, 39, was shot in the face in front of the Miller Evangelical Christian Union Church on President Street in Brooklyn around 5:30 pm.

In a third fatal shooting, Jaheim Guinn, 17, was shot in the head outside his Dean Street apartment around 10:20 pm.
