A man died Saturday after being shot in the head by a hot-headed driver whom he’d allegedly cut off, police said.
The 31-year-old victim was stopped in his white sedan between First Street and Garfield Place in Park Slope at around 5 p.m. Friday when the shooter pulled over, walked out of his car and fired four shots in broad daylight, police sources said.
The attacker then got back into his car and fled — leaving bystanders shocked at witnessing a drive-by shooting on a quiet Park Slope block, and cops still looking for the shooter Saturday morning.
“As I drove around the cars that stopped, I saw [the shooter] holding a gun and pointing it at the driver’s windshield. I couldn’t believe it,” witness Onelfri Villar, 34, said. “I saw the first two shots and kept going to the red light as I heard the rest of the shots.”
The victim succumbed to his injuries at 5:17 a.m. at Methodist Hospital, cops said. His identity is pending family notification.
