Porn STOPPED by ‘mandatory production hold’ after performer ‘believes they caught coronavirus’ – The Sun

PORN production has been put on a 'mandatory hold' after one star believed they caught coronavirus.

The Free Speech Coalition called for filming to be put on halt while other stars are tested.

The "voluntary hold" was announced on March 6 following “a report from a performer who believes they have a presumptive case of COVID-19.”

“For our own safety and the safety of the community, no one should be shooting or creating content with others," the FSC told the NYPost.

The FSC then issued a shutdown order on March 17 which will reportedly be lifted once testing of all affected talent is concluded on Tuesday.

"We do not believe there are any active cases of syphilis or HIV in the talent community, but need to clear all talent who recently tested with THL before we can lift the hold," the FSC posted on their website.

However, despite Americans being denied fresh x-rated films, porn stars have seen a rise in their income due to the pandemic.

“Actually, I’ve seen upticks in some of my income because people are home and they want entertainment and they want to get away from all the corona stuff,” former “Boy Meets World” star turned adult film actress Maitland Ward tells TheWrap.

“I’m stuck at home, too, so I’m doing a lot more content just to fill time as well."

“People are hunkered down and so they want to see content.

“That’s a remarkable thing — that we can earn good money in a crisis like this, when a lot of people are hurting. I’m really grateful for that.”
