Who is Tony Bobulinski?

Tony Bobulinski is a Navy veteran and CEO of Sinohawk Holdings, which he described as "a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family."

He was the recipient of a May 2017 email published by the Post last week that appear to show Joe Biden's involvement with his son Hunter's foreign business dealings.

How is he connected to Hunter and Joe Biden?

Bobulinski released a statement on Thursday describing his business ties to the Bidens.

The former serviceman claimed that he was brought into their company as CEO by James Gilliar, an employee of the international consulting firm J2cR, and Hunter Biden.

The 2017 email, which was reportedly from a business associate of Hunter Biden, outlined "renumeration [sic] packages" for a Chinese venture.

It also laid out how equity would be distributed under a provisional agreement, representing "10" going to Hunter "for the big guy."

Bobulinski said in a statement to the New York Post on Wednesday night that the "big guy" was a reference to Democratic presidential nominee Biden, and claimed that the "email is genuine."

“I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about business,” he told the newspaper. “I’ve seen first-hand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.”

Hours before Thursday's debate, Newsweek reported that the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs reached out to Bobulinksi regarding his business affiliation with the Bidens.

What was Tony Bobulinksi's statement?

The Navy vet sent a 689-word statement to the New York Post, in which he claimed that Hunter Biden referred to his father as “my chairman and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing.”

He also claimed that he's turned over all of his evidence to two Senate committees that requested it.

An earlier report by one panel, the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs, revealed knowledge about the Biden partnership that Bobulinksi claims he was previously unaware of.

“The Johnson Report connected some dots in a way that shocked me — it made me realize the Bidens had gone behind my back and gotten paid millions of dollars by the Chinese, even though they told me they hadn’t and wouldn’t do that to their partners,” he said,
