A group of youths deliberately broke social distancing rules this morning by riding bikes within six feet of worried pedestrians outside St Thomas’ Hospital where the Prime Minister is in intensive care.

The four ‘covidiots’ were seen flouting rules recommended by health professionals to save lives during the pandemic.

One of the teenagers even appeared briefly on TV while Minister of State for Health Edward Argar was being interviewed on Good Morning Britain about the crisis.

Ranvir Singh, the political editor at Good Morning Britain, tweeted: ‘Just seen four young men on bikes around Westminster purposely riding around people breaking the 2m rule. Including Edward Argar MP while on @GMB.

‘They need arresting. I just told them they should be ashamed of themselves – and they rode off shouting they ‘don’t give a £&@.’

She added that Mr Argar spoke to the youths after the broadcast but they ‘didn’t care’.

In the footage one of the youths can be seen approaching Mr Argar smiling with his phone in his hand.

He later cycles behind the politician and shouts something while being interviewed by Piers Morgan.

A clearly enraged Piers apologised to Mr Argar for the ‘complete moron who was cycling right up next to you with his phone during that interview.’

Another social media user Steve Flaherty, posted an image of the young man on the programme, and said police should ‘throw a couple of grand fine his way.’

The four youths were later seen on their bikes outside St Thomas’ Hospital, where Boris Johnson is currently in intensive care.

Richard Gaisford, chief correspondent at Good Morning Britain tweeted: ‘The same youths then decided to come and cause trouble outside St Thomas’ Hospital.

‘Police spoke with them, and promise action if they appear again.’

It comes just a day after two sunbathers were pictured relaxing outside St Thomas’ Hospital.

The photos emerged after Met Police chief Cressida Dick warned that officers will force people to move if they are caught sunbathing in parks during the current lockdown as more photos emerged showing Britons flouting social distancing rules.

Officers were today seen patrolling Greenwich Park in south where hundreds flocked to enjoy the sun on the weekend, prompting to yesterday confirm that sunbathing was banned as a ‘non-essential activity’.

The former nurse who took the picture said: ‘It is a shocking scene right by St Thomas’ hospital where the Prime Minister fights for his life.

‘These two male sun bathers are making a mockery of the stay at home rules imposed to save people from catching coronavirus’.
