THE UK's messiest snacks have been revealed – and crusty bread, sausage rolls, and Cadbury Flake are the worst offenders.<\/p>\n
A league table of the crumbliest foods was compiled following a poll of 2,000 parents.<\/p>\n

The research was commissioned by Bosch, which also identified the biggest crumb hotspots \u2013 with the back of the couch, in the car, and in bed the most notorious.<\/p>\n
Other culprits for mess include Weetabix, grated cheese, and croissants.<\/p>\n
While cream crackers and Hobnobs are also likely to have mums and dads hurriedly vacuuming-up the aftermath.<\/p>\n
nd 55 per cent of parents said they have discovered \u2018mystery particles\u2019 in parts of the house during a deep clean – with no idea what food they came from.<\/p>\n

While 63 per cent admitted they couldn\u2019t tell you how long the\u00a0crumbs\u00a0have been there.<\/p>\n
With 45 per cent admitting the flakes have likely been behind the sofa for more than a year – although the same amount admit it\u2019s not always the kids who dropped the\u00a0crumbs.<\/p>\n
Almost four in 10 (38 per cent) revealed they\u2019ve been guilty of spilling bits of food on the floor – vowing to vacuum it up later or hope their peckish pet dog scoffs them up.<\/p>\n
As many as 46 per cent feel food mess is a part of their daily lives, and 24 per cent spend up to 10 minutes gathering\u00a0crumbs\u00a0a day.<\/p>\n
<\/picture>baby panic <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>TERRY’S AL GOLD <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>FAMILY FEUD <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>BRUTAL ATTACK <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n But no food in the bedroom is a strict rule for 43 per cent of parents, while 42 per cent forbid snacking in the car.<\/p>\n It also emerged 22 per cent feel embarrassed when their family makes a mess in public – or someone else\u2019s house.<\/p>\n While 62 per cent say overall, their family tends to be quite messy – both in and out of the home.<\/p>\n However, for 41 per cent, cleaning up is oddly satisfying, and 36 per cent reckon they have some of their best ideas when in scrub-mode.<\/p>\n While the study, carried out through OnePoll, found a third have cleaning to thank when it comes to procrastination – as it\u2019s an easy job to get lost in.<\/p>\n Bosch commissioned the research to launch the Unlimited 7 Vacuum, which can reach narrow spaces, automatically adjust to different floor types, and has anti-hair wrap functionality.<\/p>\n Their spokesperson added: \u201cWe\u2019ve all got an opinion on which foods cause the greatest cleaning chaos.<\/p>\n \u201cThe results might come as a surprise to some, while many parents may agree wholeheartedly!<\/p>\n \u201cBut despite the debate, it\u2019s clear that the clean-up, regardless of the snack culprit, is something parents dread \u2013 even avoid in some cases.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cFor those who don\u2019t enjoy the cleaning element that comes with parenthood, following behind your family with a vacuum can be frustrating.<\/p>\n \u201cWe're all about trying to make life simple, and since we know your family are highly unlikely to choose less crumbly foods, we\u2019re here to make the clean-up easier for you.\u201d<\/p>\n 1.
