<\/p>\nTHERE seems to be a shift happening amongst Hollywood's heavyweights as celebrities leave Tinseltown in their droves. <\/p>\n
Jessica Simpson is the latest star to turn her back on the limelight to prioritise her happiness.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The singer-turned-fashion-designer, 43, has temporarily moved her family to Nashville, Tennessee. <\/p>\n
She and her husband Eric Johnson, 44, have also put their LA mansion in Hidden Hills is on the market for $22 million.<\/p>\n
"Being in Nashville, even my kids are like, 'you laugh the whole time. You're so happy'," she told E! News.<\/p>\n
"It's because I'm not on guard," she explained, referencing LA.<\/p>\n

"It's not about the celebrities – it's really about the music and the heart and the conversation," she said about Nashville.<\/p>\n
Jessica was a true noughties icon but equally her title came with struggle.<\/p>\n
She was consistently body-shamed and her weight was scrutinised as she was compared to Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. <\/p>\n
Jessica isn't the only noughties star to be turning her back on Hollywood.<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Mark Wahlberg, his wife Rhea Durham and their four children \u00a0Ella, 20, Grace, 13, Michael, 17, and Brendan, 14 relocated to Las Vegas.<\/p>\n Speaking to Fox News Digital in April, the 52-year-old actor said he wanted to give his children "the chance to thrive".<\/p>\n "It just has the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people, when they think Las Vegas, they think the Strip," he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n "But just about 15, 20 minutes away, there's a whole lot of other amazing areas that are all about family and community."<\/p>\n Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban bought a home in Nashville in 2007 just one year after they got married.<\/p>\n She previously told The Jess Cagle Interview: "That country music community is a very warm community. It\u2019s very protective. Keith\u2019s been a part of it for decades now. It\u2019s his home, it\u2019s our home."<\/p>\n Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively chose New York over LA in 2012.<\/p>\n They live with their four children James, eight, Inez, six, Betty, three and a baby whose name and gender has not been revealed in Pound Ridge.<\/p>\n Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves also made the decision to move to his native Texas in 2012.\u00a0<\/p>\n Camila previously told Fox News Digital: "For me, being from Brazil and then coming to Texas, I discovered a lot of similarities in terms of what families practice here, especially going to church on Sundays, and being very into the outdoors.
