Over his decades in the music industry, Premier had cemented himself as a mainstay producer for some of hip-hop\u2019s heaviest hitters, such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Method Man and the Notorious B.I.G., to name just a few.<\/p>\n<p>The mixtape \u2013 a collection of beats that Premier had created for other artists that were ultimately never used \u2013 instantly became a fan favorite.<\/p>\n<p>Preemo returned with <em>Beats That Collected Dust, Vol. 2<\/em> in 2011. And now, over a decade since that last release, he\u2019s surprised listeners with <em>Beats That Collected Dust, Vol. 3.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>All tracks on the tape were produced exclusively by Premier and the DJ says each has its own unique backstory.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like unique releases and <em>Beats That Collected Dust<\/em> is so unique. I also love the process of titling a project,\u201d Premier shared. \u201cI\u2019ve always been responsible for titling all the projects I produce, and <em>Beats That Collected Dust<\/em> is so fitting.
