Ron, who is Director of Media Relations for UFO research group MUFON, claims there is \u201ca very large contingent of people\u201d within the Pentagon who opposed the work of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program [AATIP] because they think the UAPs regularly reported by US military sources are piloted by creatures from Hell.<\/p>\n<p>He says he was told by Luis Elizondo, who has gone on record as being the boss of AATIP, it \u201cwas not just a little voice in The Pentagon\u2026but a huge group of people thought the phenomenon that was being witnessed was demons\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b>READ MORE: USAF sergeant who saw UFO &apos;received message from future pointing to bizarre location&apos; <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b> For more stories of the paranormal, strange and unexplained, check out the Daily Star&apos;s Weird News section.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31060362.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_Pentagon-commanders-banned-UFO-research-because-they-thought-aliens-were-demons.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>This fundamentalist Christian lobby within the US defence establishment \u201cactually affected Elizondo\u2019s ability to get funding, \u201c Ron says. Belief in both UFOs and the literal truth of the Bible is not entirely incompatible, he adds.<\/p>\n<p>For example, Ron spoke to staunchly Christian US congressman Tim Burchett. \u201cI sat down and interviewed him. His feeling was that if you look in the Bible and you look at Ezekiel building the wheel there&apos;s a lot of people that think that that was a spaceship\u201d. He adds that His Holiness the Pope has officially acknowledged that there is life on other planets.<\/p>\n<p>But the strong arm of religious fundamentalism within US political circles has actively hindered research into UFOs \u2013 and science generally, Ron says.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31060369.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_House-Members-on-Unidentified-Aerial-Phenomena-UAP-in-Washington-US-20-July-2023.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30894827.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/0_MAIN_exorcism.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> &apos;Possessed&apos; woman lifted huge exorcist with &apos;super-strength&apos; and &apos;arms like concrete&apos;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cI talked to John Brandenburg, a researcher who&apos;s done a lot of work about Mars,&quot; Ron explained,&quot; and he told me that he was working under classification as a physicist for a long time and he said there&apos;s a a big contingent that that extreme fundamental religion is governing what we are in investing our energy and our time\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>But while some authorities maintain that UFOs can\u2019t be from another planet, Ron thinks they could be from another universe altogether.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis guy came up with this thing called Quantum Jumping, his name was Burt Goldman.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;His theory is that there is another version of you existing in multiple realities but these realities all exist.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31060364.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_Scary-alien-creature-in-full-stage-makeup.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30810272.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/0_Screenshot_2023-08-29_at_095655_Main.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> &apos;Aliens took my sperm in sexual experiments \u2013\u00a0now I wonder if I have kids in space&apos;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cBurt Goldman said that you can \u2018quantum jump\u2019 through certain meditation techniques and certain mental exercises and certain visualisation exercises and actually connect with these other versions of yourself \u2013 you can even bring something back from them\u201d.
