Drake has announced he will \u201cprobably\u201d not be making any music for a while, explaining that he needs to \u201cfocus\u201d on his health. <\/p>\n

The 36 year old Canadian rapper and singer discussed the possibility of taking a break from music, hours before he released his new album For All The Dogs on Friday 6 October.<\/p>\n

Drake, whose full name is Aubrey Drake Graham, discussed his thoughts on his American radio show Table for One on SiriusXM\u2019s Sound 42.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the future of his music career, he said: \u201cI probably won\u2019t make music for a little bit. I\u2019m gonna be honest. I got some other things I need to do for some other people that I made promises to, but I probably won\u2019t make music for a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Hotline Bling rapper added that he was going to be focusing on his health after he\u2019d experienced the \u201ccraziest\u201d stomach problems for a number of years.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna be real with you. I need to focus on my health first and foremost and I\u2019ll talk about that soon enough,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing crazy, but just like, I want people to be healthy in life and I\u2019ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach and I\u2019ll just say what it is now\u2026 so I need to focus on on my health and I need to get right and I\u2019m going to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s latest album For All The Dogs is the star\u2019s eighth studio album and features collaborations with other artists including SZA, Bad Bunny, rapper 21 Savage and artist and producer J Cole, amongst others.<\/p>\n

Drake has been touring It\u2019s All A Blur with 21 Savage which kickstarted in July and has consisted of dates across North America.<\/p>\n

During his radio show, One Dance rapper also used his time to discuss the tour and thanked collaborators for helping him with the new album, adding that he was \u201coverwhelmed with love\u201d from his recent time touring.<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s recent announcement comes months afterhe led tributes to Euphoria star Angus Cloud followinghis tragic death at the age of 25. <\/p>\n

The US actor, who starred as Fezco O\u2019Neill on the popular HBO series, died on Monday 31 July. HBO said in a statement: \u201cWe are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud.<\/p>\n

Following the sad news, Drake, who is an executive producer on Euphoria, shared a photo of Angus from March of 2022 at the Revolve Social Club in LA. Accompanying the image, he wrote: \u201cGood soul,\u201d and added a tearful emoji and a dove.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
