Fitness-obsessed Demetria Lazarn, who posts online under the username @demetria70ish_, is living proof that age is just a number. The 74-year-old pensioner has gained more than 62,000 followers on social media where she inspires others to get fit with videos of her working out.<\/p>\n
In a recent post, she showed off the dress she was wearing for her birthday. In the clip, which has gained more than 2,800 likes, she wrote: "When you [sic] happy to reach age 74."<\/p>\n

Demetria was seen dancing in her living room in a figure-hugging black dress with a thigh-high slit and plunging neckline. The stunning look was completed with a red lips, voluminous curls in her hair and nude heels.<\/p>\n
She added in the caption: "Y\u2019all know me, couldn\u2019t let my birthday pass without dancing. At 74, it\u2019s on honey. No telling what I might do [laughing]." In the hashtags, she declared herself to be an "ageless beauty" and a "beautiful black woman" who is "ageing backwards".<\/p>\n
TikTok users were left stunned by the video, saying she looks much younger than her actual age. One person wrote: "Well, no wonder you look so good! I can tell you started early taking care of yourself."<\/p>\n
Another said: "Excuse me! You look good. 74 where?" A third added: "I don\u2019t see a 74-year-old lady. I\u2019m looking at a 40-something beautiful lady that keeps fit, wow."<\/p>\n
A fourth commented: "Are you sure you are 74? You don\u2019t look it or act like that I need to step up my game beautiful."<\/p>\n

Her birthday video came after she shared a glimpse into her intense exercise regime that helps her stay "ageless". In the clip, the 74-year-old strengthened her core with a chair machine that focused on training the abs. <\/p>\n
She then worked up a sweat on an elliptical trainer before finishing her workout with a celebratory dance on the treadmill. In text over the video read: "I am almost 74, encouraging you to keep it moving."<\/p>\n
Demetria captioned the post: "At almost 74 years old, I\u2019m still popping up on TikTok to be an example that aging is nothing to be ashamed of. Aging is a privilege that not everyone gets to experience. Embrace it! Stay active."<\/p>\n
