You can&#8217;t eat raw meringue. Do you understand what you&#8217;ve done?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/03\/11\/77359029-12706469-_Do_you_understand_what_you_ve_done_Marcus_Wareing_looks_on_ster-a-11_1699009881462.jpg\" height=\"607\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Do you understand what you&#8217;ve done?&#8217; Marcus Wareing looks on sternly as he watches chef Ieuan flounder after attempting to serve a dish with French meringue &#8211; containing raw meringue &#8211; on it<\/p>\n<p>Looking crestfallen, the chef said: &#8216;I haven&#8217;t got a dessert to plate. I don&#8217;t know what to do&#8217;&#8230;before he steadied his nerves, scooped out the lemon and meringue and conjured up a new dessert using lemon and piped cream.<\/p>\n<p>At home, viewers of the cookery show were hooked on the kitchen drama.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One wrote: &#8216;Oh the poor man. This is physically painful to watch. Who knew meringue was such a fickle mistress?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Another wrote: &#8216;What the actual sh***ing f**k was he thinking when he was piping raw meringue on his dessert?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Many had nothing but sympathy for the Welsh cook, who had shined in previous rounds of the competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One penned: &#8216;Gutted for Ieuan! I don&#8217;t know what to do&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Another added: &#8216;I really felt for Ieuan. Well done getting anything on the plate.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Eventually, he made it through to the table, and while the judges were sympathetic, it wasn&#8217;t enough to keep the chef in the competition.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The latest series of the show has been fraught with culinary disasters so far.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, an episode saw two chefs fail to present a dessert at all to go with their main courses after they claimed to run out of time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One of them, Ola, 33, who works as the head chef for a London sporting venue, went to pieces as the pressure of the show hit.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The experienced chef &#8211;
