Those present claimed he had been a persistent \u2018nuisance\u2019 and \u2018attention-seeker\u2019, prior to his verbal attack on the ex-England wing, who is now a pundit.<\/p>\n<p>Footage of the flashpoint, which happened shortly after Exeter\u2019s Premiership win over Gloucester, has been sent by the Chiefs to the Devon &amp; Cornwall Constabulary.<\/p>\n<p>A police statement said: \u2018We take all reports of hate crime extremely seriously and will not tolerate this behaviour.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday evening, Monye posted on social media: \u2018Leaving Sandy Park and one supporter running through crowd starts shouting \u201cN***a, N***a\u201d. Disgraceful.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/19\/19\/77994227-0-image-a-43_1700422256873.jpg\" height=\"384\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Former England wing Ugo Monye was covering Sunday&#8217;s match as a pundit with TNT Sports<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/19\/20\/77995251-12768265-image-a-63_1700424547841.jpg\" height=\"180\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>\u2018Not a single person said a word, challenged or even reported it. He walks off after a mild scuffle and fans are now telling me: \u201cWe\u2019re with you\u201d. B******s you\u2019re with me. \u2018You weren\u2019t with me when you saw and heard the most blatant racism I\u2019ve seen from a supporter at a live game. So fed up.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>There has been outrage in response to the episode and mass support for Monye from the rugby community and other sporting figures.<\/p>\n<p>It is the second time this season that a member of TNT Sports staff has been verbally abused at Sandy Park, after reporter Jenny Drummond was subjected to aggressive comments there in September.<\/p>\n<p>A Chiefs statement read: \u2018We have acted as quickly as possible to ensure this has been dealt with, following the advice of all appropriate authorities.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/19\/19\/77994237-0-image-a-44_1700422315262.jpg\" height=\"418\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Exeter are working closely with Devon &amp;
