She instantly got angry and isn\u2019t talking to me at the moment. She\u2019s telling me that I am like my father,&#8217; the mother wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The house her son will get from her is one that is still getting paid off, and not what she calls their &#8216;main home.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He currently collects rent from tenants who live in the house that is getting paid off and has been using it to pay off the mortgage.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/08\/16\/78743291-12841871-image-a-3_1702052840694.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>A mother created a Reddit post on December 7 asking if she&#8217;s an a****** for giving her 25-year-old a house and not getting her 23-year-old daughter anything<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/08\/14\/78740003-12841871-image-a-1_1702047105251.jpg\" height=\"73\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The house she will be giving him is currently being paid off and her son collects money from tenants who currently live there<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/08\/15\/78740529-12841871-image-a-9_1702049554481.jpg\" height=\"186\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Her daughter is extremely angry at her mother about the deal and keeping it a secret and told her that her mother is &#8216;like her father&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The daughter has continued to voice her opinions regarding the deal made and that her brother will have ulterior motives if the deal goes through.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She told me that my son will take that entire house and go for 50% of our main house,&#8217; the mom wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The mother continued, &#8216;She told us that we set her up for failure. The reason why I let my son pay the mortgage because It would help his credit score increase.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>She proceeded to call her daughter &#8216;selfish and money hungry&#8217; with a credit score of over 800, while also revealing that her son has a respectable credit score of over 750.<\/p>\n<p>The mom then wrote that her daughter referred to her as &#8216;the future&#8217; and that she would receive 25 percent of assets because her brother would attempt to go for 50 percent.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She told me that i\u2019m doing exactly what my father did by giving my brother his entire will,&#8217; the mother added.<\/p>\n<p>She made edits after she originally ended her explanation by wring that she&#8217;s &#8216;just helping her kids out&#8217; and that it&#8217;s &#8216;a losing game&#8217; with her daughter.<\/p>\n<p>The mom confirmed in her edits that no plans had been made on who will inherit the main house and that her daughter makes $90,000 in a high-cost-of-living area while her son makes a six-figure salary in a low-cost-of-living area.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I find it more bothersome that she\u2019s thinking about us dying and is already trying to calculate what she\u2019s going to get,&#8217; she wrote\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Her brother is a very nice guy. I\u2019m sure he would split everything evenly with her.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/08\/16\/78743283-12841871-image-a-25_1702053709000.jpg\" height=\"206\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/08\/16\/78743295-12841871-Her_daughter_currently_has_a_90_000_salary_in_a_high_cost_of_liv-a-26_1702053709093.jpg\" height=\"206\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>The mother confirmed that her son makes a six figure salary in a low-cost-of-living area.\u00a0Her daughter currently has a $90,000 salary in a high-cost-of-living area with an 800+ credit score<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 900 Reddit users commented on the post in 12 hours, and seemingly all of them believe that the mother is &#8216;most certainly the a******.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>One user even called the mother a misogynist and sexist.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Yes YTA [you&#8217;re the a******], of course you&#8217;re the a******. Why are you giving your son so much more? Why are you punishing your daughter for being financially responsible and maintaining a good credit score,&#8217; another Reddit user asked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Give your daughter as much as you give your son because she&#8217;s done nothing wrong and he&#8217;s done nothing to deserve preferential treatment,&#8217; they added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One person wrote: &#8216;Lol, of course YTA. Consider treating your children equally perhaps.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;How is your daughter money hungry but your son is not? Oh maybe because you gave him an entire house.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Other users have taken a more angry approach at making the mother aware that they believe she is the a****** in this situation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;How f****** deluded do you have to be to say &#8220;I&#8217;m helping my kids out&#8221; while actively doing nothing to help your daughter?
