Camping solo will allow me to deeply connect with nature.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>It will be very different from her usual December 25, which involves spending the morning with her parents and siblings before hosting Christmas dinner at her home.<\/p>\n<p>Liz revealed: &#8216;More people are choosing solo vacations to take a break from busy family traditions, experience new places at their own pace, and enjoy quiet reflection.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The holidays can be a thoughtful time for self-care. On Christmas day, I plan to hike through Glencoe and camp under the stars. I haven&#8217;t been to the Chapel Hill area before and in general, I love to travel anywhere and everywhere.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;ve also been a bit travel deprived since leaving my corporate job two years ago to focus on my business. I haven&#8217;t gotten to travel as much as I usually do, so Home Exchange has been providing those opportunities for me that are a bit easier on the pocket book.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Robin explained: &#8216;During my solo holiday my plans right now are to decompress, re-centre, create and explore.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;There is something so rejuvenating to my soul to be in the mountain air and in nature hiking and contemplating life.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;My travel strategy is to research things to do before the trip and then when I get there, I like a combo of planned excursions and winging it.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s admitted that previously, she&#8217;s always stayed home and close to her family for Christmas, but as she&#8217;s getting older, she&#8217;s &#8216;taking advantage&#8217; of the freedom her &#8216;single status and remote working provide&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Adding: &#8216;And I&#8217;m single, so if cupid wants to set me up like Cameron or Kate, I&#8217;m open!<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I think the things I&#8217;m most looking forward to is the opportunity to do something new and out of my comfort zone.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I believe having these opportunities allows us to grow as people. I also tend to get a lot of ideas or downloads from the Universe when I&#8217;m in the mountains.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I feel so inspired and clear.
