However, the 52-year-old worried his Channel 4 co-star Jenny Newby after he said he had his &#8220;fingers crossed&#8221; for the duo to return in the new year.<\/p>\n<p>Lee and Jenny joined the popular reality show nearly a decade ago &#8211; back in in 2014 &#8211; for the fourth series. They are now one of the shows most iconic cast members after being sofa regulars.<\/p>\n<p>The pair took to social media, wishing their 858,000 loyal followers a Merry Christmas before taking a break from filming. In a joint video, they were seen to be sat on Lee\u2019s sofa, where they usually record the programme from.<\/p>\n<p>Jenny wore a festive tartan print top, with her hair in her regular slick updo, while Lee looked casual in a white T-shirt. They said: \u201cHi everybody, we would just like to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Lee went onto add: \u201cAnd thank you for your support over the year for Gogglebox. I hope you have all enjoyed the show, two series\u201d.
