A man suffered a horrific death after being trapped inside a huge oven which was then accidentally switched on.
Alan Catterall, 54, had been tasked with cleaning plastic off the sides of the oven at a kayak-making factory in Pyranha Mouldings in Cheshire.
Co-worker Mark Francis, unaware that Alan was still inside, then switched the oven on.

As temperatures climbed, podcaster Mr Ballen recalled, Alan desperately tried to get free.
He bashed on the walls of the oven with a crowbar to attract someone’ attention.
The walls of the oven would have glowed red-hot “and before long the crowbar he was using to try to open the door must have become so hot he couldn't have held it".
Mr Ballen continued: “Then the ground as well would have been red hot and his shoes would have begun to melt and then the air temperature inside would have gotten so unbelievably hot he couldn't have breathed."

Temperatures inside the oven would continue to rise, as workers elsewhere in the noisy factory carried on oblivious to Alan's plight.
Mr Ballen added: "And so, screaming in pain and pounding on the door – leaving his skin on the door every time he hit it – Alan eventually just collapsed to the ground in unimaginable pain as he cooked alive.
“Finally, when Alan caught on fire and black smoke began coming off of his body and pouring out onto the factory floor the factory realised there's a problem… “

Alan’s wife Pearl, who also worked at the company, later told the Mirror: "We do not blame Mark at all. Him and my daughter are still together.
"I blame Pyranha Mouldings Ltd for what happened. It’s still a huge shock.”
Martin Heywood, at the Health and Safety Executive, explained: "The doors were set to automatically close whenever the electrical supply was switched back on, which meant there was a high risk of someone being trapped inside."
The firm’s technical director Peter Mackereth was found guilty of two health and safety breaches in connection with the horrific incident.
